Cyril Gane finishes Tom Aspinal

It's possible. Gane is awkward and Tom basically doesn't block at all. Tom has more ways to win and if he fights smart, he should be a lock. If he tries playing on the feet though, anything can happen. Gane has never been finished with strikes.

Gane is a guy youre not going to ko in one round. The thing with Aspinall is his one win after round 1 is arlovski. Who was way past it but isn’t as stuck in tye mud as all the other hw Aspinall fought.
If you’ve seen Aspinall grappling indont know how he’s a black belt as he’s a turtle off his back

A hw that wins all his fugvts in a round and is 1-2 after a round you could say theres going to be a pattern with that.

you can sub him in R1 tho, don't have to be a black belt

Gane can hit hard but his defense orientation makes him hesitant to sit down on his punches.

Lol, for this exact reason. Jones haters are the champions of mental gymnastics. They spent a year using the lack of a Tom fight as a way to discredit the goat.
The fact of the matter is that Jon Jones was ducking Tom Aspinall during that year.
He chose to fight a days-from-petrification Stipe, then sat on the title ducking for a year, to the point that the interim champ had to defend his interim title (terrible for the division if you didn't know).
No one was "trying" to discredit Jon, he discredited himself, by ducking Tom Aspinall. He then retired and relinquished his title instead of fighting Tom Aspinall.

A Jones nutswinger accusing anyone of mental gymnastics is just laughable. I still remember "he's pretending to duck Aspinall to build hype for the fight!😭"

If Tom loses to Gane, who Jones submitted with ridiculous ease, it proves Jon’s point that the Tom fight just wasn’t an interesting or deserved matchup. Jones haters will attempt to use your excuse of “lol jon jones ducked aspinall even though Tom sucks!!!”
Here's the thing, sport. The reality of the matter, regardless of the outcome of Tom's next fight or any of his fights afterwards or if he ever fights again, will always and forever be that Jon Jones ducked Tom Aspinall because he was scared of losing.

Future events do not affect past events. I know that people have gotten stupider here over the years, but I certainly hope I don't have to explain to you that time moves linearly.

But in reality they will be on suicide watch.
The only reality is that ever since Jon rode bitch on the back of a motorcycle gripping another man's hair into the sunset, tail tucked between his legs, even moving continents to duck Big Tom Aspinall's monumental presence, your family has been worried about you.

You keep mumbling about ducks and goats, they think you've had something known as a "farmer's shock," show them you're in a good state and get out there in the world, champ.
You're the GOAT of your own life, don't look up to another man for it!

Tom is going to rip Gane's head off and shit down his neck and when he's done with that he's coming for you next TS <mirkosmile>

Only Jon has subbed Gane. I'm not saying Tom couldn't but talking as if Gane is easy to sub without being a high level grappler is a little much. Volkov could not finish Gane off his back nor could Francis. Spivac couldn't even get him down. Its a little blown out of proportion how "bad" Gane's ground game is when you look at who out grappled him.

Lol poatan fans copeing that their boy is ducking now. He got flatlined by izzy, the man who Strickland walked down.

Aspinall would light him up so bad. And as for grappling LOL.

The only way Gane could finish Tom would be with a blowjob. His only path to victory is to stick and run and hope he impresses the judges.

I've only ever seen Jon fans justify using double standards to argue for him

See? MMA math. A logic that is widely criticized by people who follow MMA, but let's forget that for Jones.

Whatever helps you Jones fans keep him relevant at all costs

Volkov and Ngannou aren't exactly known for their ground games. Volkov lasted, what, 90 seconds on the mat with Aspinall?

Gane is a kickboxer who competes in MMA. Tom is a MMA who competes in MMA. Gane will have to fight a complete fight to beat Tom, who's not a complete moron like some people who make threads like these. I also suggest you put $100 down on 'Gane by KO/TKO in round one or round two' and post the slip. The odds in your favor must be astronomical and you can prove at the same time you're not a troll, just dumb.

I realize this but who I was replying to said Gane could be subbed in 1 rd without a black belt which is why I said that statement was a reach because Volkov could not finish Gane on the ground nor could Ngannou and they don't have black belts. I'm not saying Gane is a wizard off his back but he's definitely good enough to survive anyone on the ground who is not a high level grappler like Jon or Tom..

Never been finished with strikes but definitely rocked and close to finished. He doesn't survive this if it were Aspinall. And he likely won't survive more than a round, two max.

two men are fighting in a boxing ring with a manscaped banner behind them

Id honestly be suprised if it goes out of the 1st round. Ironically Tom probably wouldn't mind it going a bit deeper for once. It all depends how he approaches it.

Aspinal is not winning this fight on feet and i doubt he even tries to take Cyril Gane donwn. When Aspinal realizes hes going to get knocked out he will try to change his game plan but its too late. I think Gane finishes him inside 2 rounds. Aspinal is guy who gets hit a lot. Curtis Blaydes hit him few times in both fights and Pavlovich cracked him too. Gane wins this fight and then he loses to Pereira.
It's possible...
Under pressure Gane can do like Lerone Murphy who landed that spinning strike.

Aspinall will need to be surgical with the takedown like Jones.

Fair enough, he's not good but maybe his deficiencies are overblown.
