He's intentionally being a dumbass, but it is an emotional response to cutting just about any government funding. The federal government empoyees so many people that any cut results in job loss, which results in a sob story, which is usually bad political optics. It's why even temporary programs stick around forever. DEI is worse than useless, it is actively negative when implemented, but has built an industry of professionals making it difficult to fully eliminate.

DEI is like paying for and injecting cancer into your organism yourself.

This thread and the articles around it are kinda misleading. It's not the firing of DEI hires, but looks to be just the positions for people with DEI somewhere in their job description. Like the director of DEI at X agency or the Department to Improve DEI initiatives in Agriculture.

There is a trans girl that works here. To clarify it's a guy who we all call she, she acts like a girl, etc. she's super nice, I'd consider her a friend. we have strict roles males perform and females perform. This coworker performs the female role. I wonder what will happen with that.

I think this one is toothless without action from Congress. The Equal Employment Opportunity Act was passed by Congress. Trump can't rescind or terminate it through executive order. So as long as some organization is willing to take up the fight, this will likely get struck down with nothing more.

TSA. Females patdown females. Males patdown males. I'm not even allowed to patdown a women's ankle or touch her other than test her hands for bomb residue, which isnt considered a patdown.

So with this trans female. Word has come down. To clarify this is a born male. Who acts female. Trans female. Up til now she had patted down females. This just changed. She can still act like a female, but she is no longer allowed to perform the jobs which have patdowns involved. When you walk thru the metal detector or the body scanner there is an officer fixed there. potential for a patdown. She can't do that job at all anymore. And if a female opts out of the body scanner or has medical reasons she can't do the scanner and needs a patdown, trans female is not allowed to do it. And she can't patdown males either.

I'm not sure I get your intent here. Do you think this change is a good thing or a bad thing? I see you're saying in their current state trans TSA employees are effectively useless so do you mean the rules are stupid or that should they dispose of trans employees?
