Boxing Granite Chin >>> MMA "granite chin"

A chin is a chin. You learn how to roll with punches in boxing.

Imagine thinking the profession you choose automatically equates to you having a better chin.

Don't let reality get in the way of your bro-science
Nah bro boxers are just ubermensch.

Gods among men. They punch harder, take a punch better, and have bigger hogs too.

Kind of like lesser Sherbros.

Except nobody has said this.

It’s mad that this is even up for discussion. One sport requires you to be able to absorb harder/more frequent shots to the head. It is integral to the entire game.

There are guys in MMA who have reached the pinnacle of the sport and still have a very obvious flinch reaction to punches coming their way.

You are still laughably wrong.

One sport requires you to AVOID much more damage to the head, and necessitates you become damn good at it.

You will find a grand total of ZERO boxers who rely on the Cabbage/Homer Simpson gameplan in boxing. It is about hitting and not getting hit, not about who can absorb more damage.

This is why you find so many retired boxers that have boxer's lisp, slurred speech and advanced CTE than guys who did MMA. Because they take so many more partially blocked and glancing shots than MMA guys do. It isn't the big nasty knockouts that have result in those things, it's the years and years of small hits adding up.

Your last sentence is actually proving the point. MMA guys bite on feints more because they are less SKILLED.

I've been saying for years boxers have much better chins than mma fighters, it's obvious, punching and taking shots is their bread and butter

Do you guys think someone like Tony ferguson or Diaz could take 12 rounds of shots and walk through someone who punches like cotto, like margarito was able to

Anthony joshua is a fucking beast and would ko any mma heavyweight in history if he lands

At least Ngannou had the balls to dare to be great.
Any boxer steps in the cage they get taken down and smashed out pretty easily.

Lets see a boxing granite chin stand up to Francis GNP them into Bolivian.

Lets see Joshua, or any of them stop Jailton from taking them down like a child and subbing them within a minute.

Boxers have to worry about 2 things... punching and not getting punched.

MMA fighters have to worry about everything...because you know...its a real fight sir.

I give to you, Joe Joyce, my simple friend. There are loads of boxers who are more than happy to take one to land one, and whose entire gameplan is dependent on trusting in their chin.

What would happen to bxojng tomorrow if the rules were changed to allow a double leg and submissions? Grapplers would quickly come to be elite ‘boxers’ under the new rules.

Do you seriously think introducing a bunch of guys who have never even been hit in the face wouldn’t reduce the average level of punch resistance in the sport?

ITs gEnEtic is as dumb as assuming the NBA is a good indicator of average height. Height is a factor solely defined by genetics, but it represents a bigger advantage to basketball that arguably any other sport, hence you will see more taller athletes in basketball than other sports.

Usually guys with chin and power go to pro boxing. Well thats at least what ive heard from some african, france and german guys. Imo it makes sense. On top of that is has the money and much better options.

I think its the same with the porn indstury, most Guys with a big dick go there.
<{titihmm}>

The porn analogy is actually a good one.

Boxing is like the ‘big cocks’ genre, whereas MMA is more of an appreciation of the entire male anatomy.

No surprise that guys with extra inches make it to the top of the former.

But did he? Hunt never had that 1 hitter quitter KO power. You see Hunt do those walk offs but how many of them were actually knocked out and laying stiff like Jousha left Ngannou? Too many stupid MMA'ers who dont know what a real knock out is. Ngannou getting folded over is a real knock out.
Mark Hunt. Didn't have one shot ko power.

Ehhmmm....

Lol. Shut up mate.
So you admit you don't know what being knocked out is. You see Ngannou vs Rosen? Ngannou vs Overeem? Ngannou vs Stipe? Thats one punch ko power. Who has Hunt left with a stiffy in the cage? Hunt was powerful but not that top level.

You got all that from "shut up"?

Lol shut up mate.

People like you will never cease to amuse me. So arrogant and stupid yet so willing to constantly prove and reprove it.
And yet Hunt doesn't have one ko power. What fights did Hunt leave someone stiff on the canvas in the UFC? I'll wait but you'll deflect and strawgurl like you've always has done and always will done. So name these fights or continue to admit defeat.

And yet you can't post any ko's that Hunt had proving your theory. Oh gee golly, I wonder why?
You've already cited one yourself lol. Look, if you didn't follow mark hunts career that's fine. But then don't try and talk about it. That's the problem here.
