No. They weren't part of the list even if you want to imagine everything is redacted. But there aren't big republican mayor metros beside Dallas. After that Kansas City and Oklahoma City, which no one would claim are major metros. Metros by default lean left as rural areas tend to lean right.

Compared to what? They don't have the rates of many other metros per 100,000, which Chicago's is around 17.

  • Birmingham, Alabama. 58.8
  • St. Louis, Missouri. 54.1
  • Memphis, Tennessee. 40.6
  • Baltimore, Maryland. 34.8
  • Detroit, Michigan. 31.2
  • Cleveland, Ohio. 30.0
  • Dayton, Ohio. 29.7
  • Kansas City, Missouri. 27.6
  • Shreveport, Louisiana. 26.8
  • Washington, D.C.. 25.5
  • Richmond, Virginia. 24.2
  • South Fulton, Georgia. 22.2
  • Cincinnati, Ohio. 21.8
  • Louisville, Kentucky. 21.7
  • Indianapolis, Indiana. 20.0
  • Oakland, California. 18.6
  • Albuquerque, New Mexico. 18.4
  • Montgomery, Alabama. 18.1
  • Minneapolis, Minnesota. 18.0
  • Lancaster, California. 17.7
  • Little Rock, Arkansas. 17.6
  • Hartford, Connecticut. 17.6
Diversity is their strength indeed. <lmao>

Chicagos high population compared to those other cities are why the rates are lower, but Chicago often has a higher body count. And further more, the progressive district attorney kim fox and judges are keeping these thugs on the streets over and over again. I would like to see the shooting stats of those cities where they don’t end up fatal. I think k Chicago has a higher incidence of shootings happening all the die but the number of deaths that result from those shootings is what’s keeping the rates down.

"Let's turn America into Cuba to pwn the libz."
Cuba has very little police in the streets even in Havana. And almost no violent crime.
They have their own problems, but they manage crime pretty damn well.

Violence in big cities is quite a revelation.

Can human beings never get violent?

Why don’t you do cities that are much worse lol? Why single this place out?

Well no fucking shit Sherlock…

What are you even arguing?

you are mad at the total number rather than the rate..??

Erm, okay... you wanna do St. Louis, Baltimore, Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Detroit, Cleveland and a load more? This is America's third largest city. It's not being "singled out". It's been a while since I read one of your posts and you're still as dumb as ever.

Do you have any idea how high East St. Louis's murder rate is?

I’m not mad about shit. Chicago is violent af. 2021 it reached the highest number of murders in the us. It still is in the top for number of shootings. It’s all in just a few neighborhoods, which if you took their population and ignored the other millions of people that aren’t violent, the numbers would be off the charts.

As I have said too many times, I do not want national guard or military deployed in any American city. I believe it violates the constitution in posse comitatus. But the city is doing nothing to solve the problems of its violence because their own mayor is hindering efforts by the cpd. Just the other day, he said that arresting people of color for crimes is racist despite the 6% of the pop-black males, are responsible for almost all of the shootings in the city. He is ordering the pd to stand down while he has an army of police protecting himself.

This is called basic math.

Wait until you figure out that more people living somewhere means they contribute more to our economy.

Yeah, I am sure the ones causing the violence contribute much to the economy besides more fatherless kids to feed and house.

So do you think Chicago doesn't contribute more to the economy than [whatever small town you want to name]?

Illinois in general contributes significantly more money to the federal government than what it receives.

You'd think that would be difficult when it is a hellscape, correct?
