He's definitely athletic. I need to SEE that he has the technique to deal with a pitbull-like grappler like Brady. If he does, sky's the limit. But too many guys I've seen are "huge and athletic" and then get their shit pushed in on the mat by someone who's just plain a better grappler than they are.

We will see with Morales, I'm betting Brady based on available evidence so far.

Brady is obviously good but beating Leon isnt that impressive.

That's recency bias talking. Leon is a former defending world champ, 12-1 since 2016 going into the Brady fight. He's shut down multiple of the division's top wrestlers like Usman & Colby, and even in the Belal fight he had success - consistently reversing position, landing GNP, controlling his back for all of R3. Brady dominated him like no one had before.

On the surface. Watch the fight and you see Brady gassed badly. He had a major nasal issue that he had surgery on. His cardio looked on point since, so him getting stopped because he couldn't breathe properly likely won't be a factor here.

I don't god damn know who is going to win but this like the Main Event and Leon/Prates is some fine matchmaking. As far as I could see at the presser, this fight is now between Sean Brady and Sisqo from Dru Hill. That man can sing his ass off. If Brady beats him he's got to get the next TS.

But who has Morales beaten? Jake Matthews - gatekeeper. Magny - lots of wins but shopworn gatekeeper. Burns - washed and coming off three straight losses (the most recent being to Brady). Compare those wins to beating Leon Edwards.

Morales is a very big welterweight with the power to match, but this is a big step-up in competition and I'm not sure how good his TDD is.

Im pulling for Brady, big fan of his grappling style, and the fact he’s not a TS diva and is willing to fight down, and even fight again if necessary

Morales a young strong man that has put away a lot of guys but Im not on the wagon

Hespect to Sean and hopes he imposes his will and gets a nice submission to claim his status as the next guy


Islam also acknowledges Brady as a very formidable opponent and appreciates his style as well
