Took LTR to SummerSlam. We had a really good time. His two favorite wrestlers are (1) Rollins; and (2) Punk, so he went from very happy to ecstatic. He marked out like a madman when Rollins' music hit.
Some Inside Baseball for you: About 17 years ago I trained at a "hardcore gym" near here. The guy was from Jersey. After a few years he moved to LA and has taken off a bit - he's worked with the Dodgers and a few other MLB teams, some MMA fighters and a handful of wrestlers, including Rollins and Becky, who are friends of his now. (Him and his wife were sitting with Seth/Becky at the HOF a few years ago.) I'm on his email list (he does small group and private training/coaching). The Monday after Seth "got hurt," that's what his email was about - how much it sucks as a coach when one of your guys gets hurt and blaming yourself, etc. Up till then, I was thinking it was a work. Then I read that email - in which he said he reached out to Becky and she told him that Seth wasn't responding to her - and figured, Oh shit, it's real.
He worked me! That was like 4D Kayfabe!
I thought the show was solid, with the end turning it into something special. I was pleasantly surprised that Tiffy won clean like that.
Sammy/Kross was just about a squash - take it to mean Kross isn't re-signing?
Good on Jelly Roll taking that Flying Logan through the table.
