Wrestlers Beware! The UFC is on the cut.

It depends on lots of things. Watching Reem get KO'ed was priceless, same w/ Hardy (against Condit). I wondered why Dana left Hardy alone after 4 losses n then I realized, people will pay to see em win or lose.

The majority of these are jackass Pride fan. Pride was a fucking joke compared to what the UFC is today. Pride was all about with fights and staged acts.

PRIDE fans can't really say anything. They let CroCop walk right after winning their OWGP.

For losing to (and having a good claim at actually being the winner in 2 out of the 3 fights) 2 of the top p4p fighters in the world who are becoming or already are dominant champs? There is a difference in losing to gatekeepers and champions. I swear, the cuts are just proving what awful shit fans mma has.

I really hope you are referring to the 2 Bendo fights where Edgar could claim to be the winner. Even then he dealt no damage at all while Bendo brutalized him with kicks. He didn't win them, it was close, but there was no doubt Bendo won.

And if you think he actually got the Aldo fight then you're plain delusional.

I agree that I don't know what is going on and that you are a bufoon. That much in that previous post is correct.

Fixed

You should go watch the minor leagues and the other organizatioons with the less talent thenthe UFC. The UFC and the greatest fighters in the would dont care about you.

The greatest fighters in the world certainly do care about being cut after one fight, but only if they are a grappler.

Your reccomendation makes no sense. While I REALLY enjoy watching Bellator, one of the ways the UFC got me to watch in the first place was talking about how "they were there to find the best fighters in the world. ANd keep them all under one roof, unlike boxing which could never make the real, necessary fights.

NFL is about finding the best football players and teams in the world.
NBA is about finding the best basketball players and teams in the world.

WWE is about entertaining kids and drunk rednecks with brutality and no regard for anything skillful.

UFC is heading more towards the WWE aspects of making money rather than the NFL or NBA or MLB. Its kinda sad.

I was wrestling around with one of my toddlers and the dog last night, and Dana texted me saying to cut that shit out.

Title should read "Boring Fighters Beware!".

After all, there are plenty of dull stand up guys.

NFL = Legitimate sports organization.

WWE = Sports entertainment.

UFC = On the fringe heading towards sports entertainment.

Anyone that doesnt realize whats going on is a buffoon.

You are missing the defining line in which UFC is actually real and WWE is fake, but I'd say its more like boxing. But I do agree some what, the UFC is starting to make title fights solely on entertainment value rather then actually earning a title shot. Sonnen/Jones, GSP/Diaz, Edgar/Also and the list goes on, ya it might not be the fight casual fans want to see but we the fans shouldn't determine who are the ones that earn shots.

They also cut an exciting striker in Mills and an exciting BJJ fighter in Sass. Guess we can throw away this idea that only wrestlers get cut.

If you are the best fighter, you will eventually hold the belt. The fights are real and the best fighters are the current champions.

Im not missing that. Its obvious. But I agree with much of your post.

The point i was trying to make was more that

NFL is about finding the best football players and teams in the world.
NBA is about finding the best basketball players and teams in the world.

WWE is about entertaining kids and drunk rednecks with brutality and no regard for anything skillful.

While the competition in the UFC might be real, it has nothing to do with finding the best in the world like those other sports leagues.

How are they not trying to find the best in the world? Which fighters has the UFC avoided that could beat the current champs? I would say the UFC has done a better job of finding the best than any other fight promotion there is or ever was.

I wouldn't refer to the NFL, they waive and cut good players all the time, like the Falcons are about to cut Michael Turner who is second all time on the team in rushing but had one off year. Same with Asomgua, I might have spelled that wrong, of the Eagles who had a bad year and is now asked to restructure his deal or will be cut. NFL is a bad comparison because if anything it looks like the UFC is doing exactly what the NFL is doing.

they also cut at least 5 jiu-jitsu guys, so it isn

Cutting Fitch does not mean the UFC is not about top talent. It means they no longer consider him to be a top talent. You could argue that they are wrong, but there isn't much evidence here to suggest they have stopped caring about talent.

Hes nothing like Fitch. He also just gave Aldo maybe the toughest fight of his career.

No he didn't. Edgar gave Aldo a tough point contest. Nothing he threw hurt Aldo, and his TD (attempts) meant absolutely nothing. If he got Aldo down, Aldo would have escaped 2 seconds later.
Edgar himself got beat up pretty badly though.
