Worse look - Tom quitting or Jones ducking?

Which is worse—Aspinall saying he can’t continue, or Jones not fighting Tom?

Jones ducking by a mile. Refusing to defend your title is weak. Being unable to continue after a foul is completely understandable.
kinda like what gsp did right its weak

tom calling out 38 year old LHW like jones and pereira is weak
he acts like hes a legend himself

dude didnt even won a real title it was only given to him

Tommy Aspinall will forever be in Jonny jones's nightmares.

If this is a serious question, being a big fat duck by far obviously.
why would he?
does tom aspinal finaly won more titles than jones?

how many title wins does aspinal have

Tom quitting. At least Jon was validated by Tom’s last fight. Tom had it all in front of him and fucked it up.

Jon should’ve fought him for that money though, obviously. Tom couldn’t hang… I don’t think money motivates Jon anymore and he wanted pereira or nobody.

Finally, Alex is on the other side of a favorable matchup.

Comparing a unanimous GOAT, choosing his opponents in his old age and retiring... and unknown newcomer nobody at his first real test, who feigned, chickened out, and bailed out while losing a fight to his only serious opponent... that's so-so. It's better to compare the behavior of Sterling and Asp

I'm pretty sure defending a belt against a 42 year old who hadnt won a fight in over 4 years instead of the guy who has been interim champ for a year, and then dragging things on even longer before eventually vacating the belt and pretending to retire to get out of fighting your long term no1 contender, is a worse look than being poked in both eyes and not being able to continue in a fight you were (in spite of the narrative pushing wanting it to be otherwise) competitive in.

So you think actual belt holders should get to choose their opponents? sounds like a great model for an entertaining, fan friendly and legitimate sport.

So you think fighters should feign injury and cowardly quit when they lose? That's what viewers pay for, and it's certainly the best role-playing model for sports!

How do you know he feigned injury?

Answer the question, as an MMA fan are you saying you are in support of champions be allowed to pick who they defend the belt against?

No, of course he didn't fake it. He almost lost an eye! Are you kidding or what?
So, as an MMA fan, you don't want to answer my question: do you support faking injuries?

So essentially you're avoiding confronting the fact that you just said a champion (because its Saint Jon) should literally be able to pick and choose who they defend their belt against, and to distract from that insane take you're baselessly claiming someone feigned an injury, like these two things are related.

As usual, you're a quality poster.

So, you don't want to answer the question, but instead you play dumb, denying the obvious ducking andd shitting the pants? A typical Asp fan (= Jones hater) - very high IQ individual, worthy follower of Asp.

Hes one of, if not the biggest retard on here by far. Not worth engaging with in a serious manner. Some of the Jones glazers you can tell are just trolling for the most part. This retard im not so sure.

Jon ducking no doubt. His history at heavyweight is pretty much him cherry picking his opponents and then getting backed up against the wall with his words once Alex lost his fight. So Jon told everyone he's going to fight Tom and then after wasting everybody's time, said he was already retired and that the UFC never told the public.

But all of a sudden he's done with retirement and he's looking to fight Alex again. Surprise, surprise, as predicted

Tom quitting is legitimately debatable. We simply don't know how bad his vision was at that time. The person who is causing the foul should be blamed if anything

Jones ducking of course. No one fouled him while he was ducking so can't exactly give him benefit of the doubt. He was just sitting out Khabib-style and openly proud of himself

Jon fought the best of the best for like 15 years, and cherry picked his last fights and i honestly dont blame him for not fighting tom, there really was nothing to gain.

Tom isnt going to have a career like Jones, Tom isnt better than Jon in any area of mma, the entire reason people want this guy is because Jones is getting old, and they want father time to do its thing, the only way tom could win is a KO. The fight really does nothing for him, and after he beats tom people would just push the next young up and comer in hopes that father time wins again which it will eventually.

I personally am glad he retired, but i rly didnt care to see him fight at HW at all, and he only fought stipe because he is a petty sob that wanted to have one over DC.

At the end of the day, tom is inferior to Jons mma wise in every situation despite age and size, and frankly I just do not find those fights that exciting, Jon haters want to see him KO'd put to sleep, that is why they want this fight that bad and it is also why it wouldnt matter if Jones took the fight and won, they would just jump ship.

There are very few actual Tom fans, just Jones haters. with that said, i dont rly think either is "worse" they are both fighters

Not only are there very few of them, but they all sit quietly and root for Tom no matter what, and now they're very disappointed with his behavior. Meanwhile, the fake fans (Jones haters, 99%) are trying to make excuses for him because they feel like Asp has shit himself and they don't want to find a new object of worship.

Jon was the HW champion and Tom was the interim. I know you’re not that dumb, you’re just being obtuse on purpose to try to spin it in a way that isn’t as embarrassing for Jones.
