The government shut down and its a good day for American citizens.
No, we’re the ones who get fucked in this each time it happens. Especially this time of year. For example, one of the things that closes down are national parks, plus disruptions to air and train travel. It hurts tourism, affects state economies, and we lose billions in GDP.The government shut down and its a good day for American citizens.
Your Health insurance already subsidizes for those who don’t pay medical bills. It’s just more expensive than if tax money was used for health expensesI pay a lot of money for my health insurance. Why should my (and everyone else's) tax dollars subsidize free health care for illegals?
How do Dems see this as a winning issue for them?

In other words, if we refuse to get on board with Trump hurting average Americans, he’ll hurt even more average Americans.

I'm aware that people go to the hospital. It'd still be the middle class shouldering the bulk of the cost. Any country that offers "free" healthcare has an astronomical tax rate compared to the US. Why can't I go to work, refuse the health care my employer provides and get the free health care everyone else not contributing gets?Y

Cliffs: poor people still go to hospitals, particularly expensive ERs where docs are legally required to treat them. They don’t pay those bills and the hospital has to eat those costs. Hospitals end up charging those with insurance more to make up those costs. Insurance then raises premiums on us.
Middle class with “good” employer provided health plans subsidize the healthcare of the rest of the country. With taxes it would at least be more spread out and not a middle class burden.
Don’t spend your remaining years like this lmao
The ACA tax credits don’t make healthcare free. They reduce premium costs in varying degrees on a sliding scale based on income. If you don’t qualify for those tax credits it is likely because you are not poor. The people who do qualify are low income and have a whole host of other problems to deal with that you don’t have to deal with.I'm aware that people go to the hospital. Seems like the democrats gambled and will lose a lot more than they intended.
What I’m saying is, if Trump truly does get rid of these government workers permanently, it hurts the democrats more.If you think this is about democrats losing something, you are in for a rude awakening.
How does a minority party shutdown the government? It can't without bipartisan support. The bulk of the shutdown falls on the republican party as they need to convince the fewest number of people to pass anything.
I don't think you're answering my question and are confirming its the middle class that takes it up the ass. Why don't I deserve the same benefits as the poor? Why is someone who is poor rewarded with health care subsidized by the working class? The ACA tax credits don’t make healthcare free. What have government workers done to you? People will hate a man that make a few thousand more than them, but let the millionaires and billionaires screw them over without complaint. What I’m saying is, if Trump truly does get rid of these government workers permanently, it hurts the democrats more.
Lol the man said the poor are rewarded. That has to be spoken by a person who was never in a bad situation.I don't think you're answering my question and are confirming its the middle class that takes it up the ass.
