That's such a dumb way to see things. So does it piss you off when you pay out the ass for health insurance but rarely use it? That is you subsidizing sick people with insurance. Or is that fine because they also get bent over paying monthly for insurance?

What about cops, fire fighters, etc? Should people that don't pay taxes not get access to protections/services provided by cops and fire fighters? That is not entirely true. I don't know what the guidlines for other states are, but in PA, a household of 3 can't make more then 35k a year to qualifiy for free healthcare. At that salary, you still pay taxes. That said, why should illegal aliens get free healthcare when american citizen are working and barely surviving making 35k/yr and get no healthcare if they go over that income by even just a dollar? I don't know how anyone rich or lower/middle class can support illegal aliens getting free healthcare.

I wish they would change the messaging from that democrats did this, to how it all benefits us.

For instance. The DC suburbs in MD and northern VA as some of the highest, if not the highest richest areas in the world, based on average per capita income.

Even Washington, D.C., is on the list. In other words, it’s not just one radical blue state; it’s a growing club of Democrat-run states (and Utah, for some reason) that had healthcare for illegals as official policy.


Here’s the bottom line: state healthcare programs aren’t just funded by state tax dollars — they’re heavily bankrolled by Washington. Medicaid is a federal-state partnership, and the federal government typically covers 50% to 75% of the cost. The One Big Beautiful Bill finally closed the loopholes that let states hand out free healthcare to people who aren’t supposed to be eligible — like illegal immigrants.
