Why Are Lots of MMA Content Creators Overweight and Unfit?

Must be sucking in his gut even when hitting pads then.

Yea, guru seems to just be almost sherdogger size, can't hate. The guy is just extremely unkempt. Haircut and a trim do wonders to a man.

To answer OP's question, most guys that train, do so and talk about the sport here and formerly on the UG (haven't been there in a decade can't vet) and work normal jobs to raise their families.

Content creators are by definition paid attention whores. You have to be to be successful. Even the "workout gurus" have been caught with fake plates, it's all about clout and money. Most people don't wish for their face to become a clownish meme on the internet and have more self respect.

Maybe the beard could use a little bit of trimming but he has the looks of a Roman soldier with the hair and beard. A true warrior.

Some warriors are wild at heart and appearance and we can't fault him for that.

I'd say many MMA fighters look less fit than these dudes

Share your thoughts – why are so many MMA content creators and experts out of shape and seemingly unconcerned about their own physical fitness? I don’t understand how people with such strong knowledge of MMA, training methods, and nutrition still don’t prioritize their own fitness.

P.S. Maybe I’ll get banned for this forum post.

Looks like he can't straighten his arms.

Just fidgeting with his shirt, sir. It must have made him a little nervous that his secret would be exposed that he isn't the fat manlet people projected him to be.

Trail blazers

In prime condition to cut to 265

Two types of online MMA fans, people who love fighting with an autistic side to them and people who are former pro wrestling fans. Most of the MMA media fall into the pro wrestling side which is why they a) look like pro wrestling fans and b) love the drama more than the fighting.

Most of these guys were forum nerds first. Look at Drake Riggs these days for instance.

That’s your typical 6’5” 265 lbs 8% bf sherbro in real life. Right there.

Oh yeah, and he's not sucking in his gut with maximum force or anything.
The hands pulling the tshirt away are the deadest giveaway possible but people here act like he the second coming of Arnold Schwarzenegger lol.

This is what I imagine most sherdoggers look like.

"Why Are Lots of MMA Content Creators Overweight and Unfit?"

Because their job is sedentary

Spending hours a day sat in front of a computer

Not just MMA content creators. Most people who do this as a job or side gig on any topic

Turns at when your profession is to watch things on TV that isn't the best base for being physically fit. Also watching other people doing active things on TV does NOT burn your calories by proxy while you sit and watch it.

Who would have guessed it.
