I came out as expected.

No transwomen in women sports, less immigrants, harsher sentences for crime is my right leaning.
But fiscally I'm ok with socialist policies to help more poor people and more abortion clinics is my left leaning.

Carney is a horrible human being, but not because of the phrases you quoted. His company protected Jared Kushner and his shady deals. Brookfield disregarded many governments' demands and didn't even get a slap on the wrist.
