Aspinall would obliterate him, but good chance he doesn't even get that fight if he actually defends against Ankalaev.if poatan gets the hw strap, that makes him the goat

That biggest threat is retiring next PPVWhy are we even talking about Aspinal? He still needs to fight the biggest threat in his own division
Jon would never accept that fight lol.Why are we even talking about Aspinal? He still needs to fight the biggest threat in his own division
Not really he's on a 13 fight unbeaten streak while everyone else in the top 10 has recent losses. Jiri has lost like 2 or 3 times since he last lost so has Jan and the last guy to get a title shot.He also has a title shot for 4 fights ago, ended in a draw, prob should have won but that’s life so a draw it is.
Then a nc that prob should have been a dq loss.
He’s on a two fight win streak since his last title shot, definitely agree it should be him next but this notion that he has been criminally kept away from title shots is honestly complete gibberish.
Generally speaking, when a win streak gets interrupted by anything other than a loss, the changing of the tune from "win streak" to "unbeaten streak" is pretty much only to be more accurate and doesn't knock down the streak in any way whatsoever. It's pretty much been precedent ever since Fedor had a NC against Big Nog years back. No different than when people were calling for Leon because the no-contest in his unbeaten streak. The fact it's not a continuous win streak should not be a hurdle in any way.He also has a title shot for 4 fights ago, ended in a draw, prob should have won but that’s life so a draw it is.

So you keep saying this wrong thing, and this irrelevant thing. It's his 3rd top-5 win and his 6th top-10 win.Ank beat the first top 5 of his career, coming from a loss
Pereira is running out of options at LHW. Pretty much just Ankalaev left. It feels kind of pointless, but atleast that's the last name. After that maybe MW champ challenges LHW or Pereira challenges Jones/Aspinall.
And nobody cares. That biggest threat is retiring next PPV
That's a good point. They just need a couple big winsI feel like we'd have to wait a bit for Ulberg and Azamat to get their names up there in the title picture.
