Shavkat vs Ian Garry non-title fight is reasonable. They might need to find another big fight to add to the main card as well.

It's gonna be insanely unprofessional and horrible optics if the UFC create an interim welterweight title less than 6 months after the champ just fought. And I doubt Alex Pereira and Ankalaev are both willing to fight short notice, although it's not impossible.

Force the champ ,who hasn’t recently fought and doesn’t have a fight scheduled and no confirmed injuries, to defend his belt and position against the number one contender.

It is interim but he wouldn't get the last fight of the night. Kai's fight is most likely going to be moved up unless some champion wants to step in last minute.

Nobody knows who the hell that guy is and it's a flyweight fight, it would make more financial sense to make a non-title fight between two more marketable guys.
