I uninstalled Starfield at about 40 hours of playtime. I didn't have any real problems or frustrations with it, it was decent, but I felt like moving on to the next game in my backlog (Cyberpunk). I did a lot of quests and had experienced everything in the gameplay loop and while it was fine, it didn't grab me by the balls and was becoming repetitive. I will revisit it again down the line when more DLC is released and the modding has really taken off

I've also been playing Dave the Diver and it's a really great game. It has a strong and satisfying progression system as the story develops and it introduces new gameplay concepts while expanding the ocean with new locations and fish/hazards. Enjoying it a lot

I didn't realized Blood was available on STEAM so I bought it. It is one of the classic old school FPS's I didn't actually play back when I was a kid. I would've dug the shit out of it back then because of all the torture and gore on display, but I find it's also a bit more difficult and you have to take levels pretty slowly and cautiously because there aren't many health drops

I did some other impulse spending on the weekend. I bought Battlefield 2042 and played it a bit, and my first impressions were pretty good. I also bought a game called Shredders which is a Snowboarding game. I haven't played a Snowboarding game since Cool Boarders back in the PS1 days and I loved it, and this one is really well reviewed I see. I installed it but haven't played it yet. I also bought Robocop: Rogue City which just released and I'll probably use that to replace Blood once I've finished it.

Hearing good things about RoboCop: Rogue City. 60€. 40GB.

Game takes place after the events of RoboCop 2 (film) but before RoboCop 3. If you’re looking for a dystopian FPS with mech vibes, have a look and consider picking up.

Launched just last Thursday with pub by Nacon.

Is Fallout Sonora a remaster of sorts?

I really wish BGS or M$ would put a team on remaking FO2 along the lines of Wasteland 3. They have so many Fallout vets on various teams.

I've been playing Star Trek Resurgance, a new studio of former Telltale Games devs. Despite the lazy pc port, the game is excellent so far, really captures the magic of Next Gen era Star Trek.

Fallout Nevada, Fallout 1.5 and Fallout Sonora are all total conversion mods meaning they are basically new games that use Fallout 2's engine. I've only played Nevada and 1.5 this far but they are great if you are familiar with classic Fallouts. Quite lore-friendly and well written games.

Just skimmed through igns and GameSpot's Man Who Changed His Name reviews. I said skimmed, because I want to spoil too much for myself, and the little that I saw was too much.

IGN game it a 7. They can eat a dick.

Not surprised. I just beat Judgement this past weekend and thought it was great. Feels like this series can't miss with me.

Judgment is very good. Lost Judgments story isn't as good, but it has a lot more to do and The Kaito Files DLC had a beautiful ending. I highly recommend that one as well.

I love the customization/item unlocks in Descenders.

Diablo 3

Just about wrapped up the season. Might be my most successful build yet. My Demon Hunter is just wrecking shit. They capped the "paragon" level at 800, but I'm pretty damn close to done at 150, so I don't really see the point of it, past pro-gamer leaderboard shit. Can't be arsed with that shit. You just get to a point of having to dodge one hit kills in Greater Rifts, and that's pretty much the long and short of it. Time to move on.

Think I'm gonna give that "Dead Space" remake a whirl, now that it's on the Cloud.

Either Streets of Rage 4 and Shredder's Revenge are hard or I just suck at these games. I can't even get past the first level lol.

Actually I’ve been hearing from multiple outlets that it is one of the weaker entries. It was meant to be DLC but they turned it into a full game. It lacks content compared to a lot of the others. Heard it feels phoned in. Not surprising, feels like their efforts go to to new turn based Like a Dragon series now. I enjoy that one a lot more. Mainline series peaked at Zero

Hearing that if you are a fan of Robocop it's amazing and that the reviews gave it scores too low. Going to pick it up if there's a Black Friday sale.

Me too. I’m feeling it for some reason; got it wishlisted already. I heard the studio behind it is known for authenticity and IP loyalty, that Rogue City has a distinct cyberpunk vibe for a view into the future but as predicted from the 1980s.

Zero is the top game for me as well. Fantastic story and side missions, lots of decent mini-games. Combat is a little clunky, but still fun.

I loved everything about Like a Dragon, aside from the combat. Although it was spectacular at first, it became boring rather quickly and I'd do everything to avoid the random encounters on the street. I'll still pay full for Infinite Wealth though.

Worth a Buy sold me on that game. His review was hilarious. We need more games like this. Where you just fuck shit up. It's not Triple A but a good 4 hours where you are just brutally slaying criminals with the sweet Auto 9 is therapeutic.

He it is in case you missed it and wanted to check it out. Entertaining.

Yea I just rewatched the first movie again a month or so ago and it still holds up. I want to play this but will wait a bit. Maybe it hits a sub service soon.

Unlikely that it goes on there soon if at all. Their last terminator game that they did never ended up going there.

Yea I guess that's true. Either way it will be a while before I get to it. There is a ton of stuff I didn't get a chance to play in 2023. I'm kind of burned out right now to.
