This is a massive crowd and they are already getting whipped into a frenzy

Dunno who you mean, but this chick just completely co-opted the gathering. Like, it took maybe 2 minutes. The BLM people specifically said she isn't from BLM and she just started her crowd chanting it anyway. And now people are throwing shit.
Absolutely maddening.
I'd like to pick your brain sometime for my writings about the transition of the BLM protests Portland has taken before, during, and after Federal intervention.

Edit: I'm watching the livestream I posted. Not sure where you are in relation to the view I have.

This shit is 17 different kinds of fucked and i'm guessing most people here don't realize what this lady did

60s ruled over all
<Moyes5>
growing up in NY was awesome
mets from worst to first to win the WS
Jets with Namath winning the SB as the underdog

hippies, woodstock.
don't forget Kennedy.
*grassy knoll time warp

In your case its the 1760ties!

Oh absolutely
I've been in contact with some homies in Portland lately. Some BLM activists that have your views, and others that see the Federal intervention as a new chapter. I've tried to explain that the Feds are going to use them to crack down on BLM protests but they pointed to 120 peaceful protesters being arrested in Omaha Saturday and no one gives a single fuck about them.

We're marching here in solidarity with Portland Saturday in a combined solidarity/Anti ICE march. I will say, the protest outside the Federal building is massive right now from my stream.

Why are you so defensive about the 80s? This isn't a war or anything. I'm not seeing it though. There wasn't much going on besides people not knowing what to do.
Its one of the most interesting decades imo , we aren't fighting though , I'm just right and you're just wrong

Btw, Doom Patrol is amazing.

I really enjoyed that one too

What i'm seeing right now is an absolute disgrace

They have it but people aren't paying attention at the moment
Then they need new leadership and a new structure if they aren’t holding people’s attention in this moment. they have always come off as fractured to the point of meaningless flailing, it’s been my biggest frustration with them since their inception. Who is the leader of BLM?

People are actively co-opting BLM to call for violence

I legitimately didn't realize/think that revcom had any active members. Even within the revolutionary socialist circles, they've always been regarded as pretty pointless, outdated, and ineffectual, having come about at least ten years (and arguably 50 years) too late for their tactics.

Thats not even up for discussion.
Imagine being THAT clueless.
