Ben!

I voted to ban all guns.

If you wanna stop murders, you gotta stop guns.

If your only tool is a gun, every problem looks like death, I always say.
I'll bet that's not what you always say. Almost certainly you have to say other things as well to get though your day so stop being dishonest with your sherbros

This is what makes the situation almost impossible to solve effectively. I vehemently disagree with the gun laws in effect now for the fact they were knee-jerk reactions and simply do not work. In other countries that option has been successful, but what works for one culture will not necessarily work in another.

To be honest 38000 people were killed last year in car accidents, they should put the money into solving that problem rather than the gun issues. So I guess my stance regarding guns is to 'do nothing' and lessen deaths by other causes lol.

Its hard because America cannot seem to have an honest balanced connversation on the subject because 2nd amendment people refuse to make any concession (in general) as they believe that people simply want to take their guns and any concession is a slippery slope to disarmament.
This isn't one way though, i can see why they may think that.

I can see why someone living in the sticks where there are no police having a gun but they have no place being carried in towns and cities.

America is just too big to apply a sweeping statement one way or another i suppose

I have to disagree with that last part mate, in the cities is where crime is rife and I'm actually more inclined to carry. I've felt safer unarmed on jobs in Africa that some random parts of the US where crazy incidents have happened in-front of me lol.

I'm a fan of New Zealand's firearms legislation.
Less restrictive than what I've got now, more restrictive than the US in a lot of ways.

My av showing me hunting at 5 makes it obvious that I wouldnt be for banning all guns.... but I also dont care about all the non-hunting rifles and some of the crap thats out there. I would say id be for stricter laws on who owns them. Pro gun groups worry about slippery slopes which is why they never compromise. Its the same with someone who is pro abortion. They dont want laws that draw lines in n general because they can be a slippery slope. But yeah, overall Id favor stricter laws and Im a gun owner. Dont think stricter laws makes one anti gun. Love guns tbh

Let’s keep it simple

1) Pro guns - legalize fully automatic weapons

2) Pro guns - keep laws how they are now

3) Pro guns - restrict weapons more than current laws

4) Ban all guns
Aaaayyyyy posting in the WR. I like it. Also you didnt give a position.

Let us purchase tanks....the government has them, why can’t we?

On a serious note these numb nuts who say ban guns are just big dummies..Of coarse I would like a world with peace, no hostility, no need for guns, who in their right mind wouldn’t want that?

Unfortunately that’s not the world we live in, the cats out of the bag already, no turning back ..

My vote is go fuck yourself. Deal with criminals - not guns.

Keep ‘em legal, more/ better regulation. There’s gotta be a way to stop mental cases from buying guns.

Just don't.

What happens if someone has a gun but then later succumbs to a mental health problem?

Legalize all of it. Let localities designate public spaces, such as schools, parks and government buildings, as gun free zones based on need.

Stop making it a political football. If you really support the 2nd Amendment, there's no conversational difference between automatic weapons and a rocket launcher. There's a functional difference and a capacity for damage difference but there's no real legal difference, in my opinion.

I think y'all should go through pictures of guns in magazines and restrict all of the scary looking ones*. That's what the government did here in Canada, and now there is no more gun violence. Especially in Toronto. Daily.

*Yes, that is seriously what happened here. For example, the HK G11, a caseless ammo prototype, is prohibited by name, regardless of it never being put in production. It did appear in a magazine at around the time the legislation was drafted, however.

Maybe if they go on any type of medication to treat anything related to mental state, their right to weapons freezes!

What if someone doesn’t have a mental illness but has just has a bad day and wants to go into a school and kill children?
