I dont think any choice is fair.

We shouldn't restrict or ban any firearm in particular. We should restrict who has access to them based on mental health history.
What happens to a guy that snaps out of the blue, and who was previously granted the right to possess semi-auto/auto rifles? What if his next “re/certification” wasn’t due for another 5 years?

Also, and not to make light of mass murders like Vegas, the overwhelming majority of murders in the U.S. are committed by people without mental health issues, i.e., gang members, jealous spouses, etc.

Just something to think about, I guess.

Here’s a site that showcases a lot of improvised, homemade and underground manufactured weaponry, a lot of crude garbage, but a smorgasbord of impressive equipment as well. Luty SMGs, MAC-10s and tec 9s pop up on the site fairly frequently (all in full auto function) and the tec 9s were higher quality than the original pieces were (aluminum frames and not plastic like the original)

There’s also been a trickle of full auto (not semi auto converted to full auto) AK type rifles coming into the country from Mexico, the BATFE and FBI record around 900 machineguns recovered yearly from criminals (guns that were never on the NFA registry, so they were either smuggled into the country, or illegally converted) while legally owned civilian full autos have been used twice in crimes since 1934 (one Negligent discharge, and one case of a cheating wife caught by her husband) out of 170,000 pre 1986 machineguns, and 600,000 post sample ones.

He's a communist. Of course he wants an unarmed populace for his authoritarian government to control
Actually if you look at his bullet point number deuce trotky definitely stated he wants the military to no longer have automatic long guns either.

So he’s pro-communist China because that’s a plan that they have. I HAVE THE DOCUMENTS

So by his authoritarian government ruling over the populace, he just wants Russia/China to steamroll over the US military and then not have to worry about a resisting force once occupying. Got it

1 and 2 are the same. You can own a fully automatic weapon in the US.

I think it is hilarious that we act like fully automatic weapons are banned. I know a guy who owns a tank.

Yes, and when he gets to the point of the communist Chinese and the Russians invading and taking over the country, he will use the all powerful doplar radar to bring forth the next ice age and force the globalist agenda on the former greatest country on earth.

Don’t even get me statted on the trans-dimensional blood sucking vampires, you don’t want to know what trots is planning with them

Yes, and no. You can buy one that is, and has been on the registry before May 16,1986. However, you cannot find grandpa’s war trophy 1927 Thompson, kick the dust off of it, call up the NFA branch and get it put on the registry.

Exact same firearm can be bought for a low, low price of $20-$50,000. Identical to your firearm, but a piece of paper is the only difference between the two.

Damage the receiver of a pre 86 machinegun? Tuff tiddy; it’s garbage and BOOM another MG bites the dust and one less on the registry for civilian use. In May of 86, there were approximately 176,000 on the registry, in 32 years that’s dropped a fair amount, give it another 20 and it will drop a fair amount again. Ten years ago I could pick up a mac-10 for $2k, today they’re $8k, an M16 was $15k ten years ago, now $25k. MP5 $8k ten years ago, now $30k

Re-opening the registry and allowing the populace the option for a few months to register a new machinegun (say one per residence) and undergoing the year long background check, would allow LEOs to know where any currently possessed illegal machineguns are, and would give the appearance of not infringing on 2A

Every household should be mandated by law to have at least one fully automatic weapon. For protection.
I don't even live in the US; that is what I want for every country.

Thank for participating! Which episode are you on?
Ben I'm on strike from joe again!

Not until he brings Eddie back and allows him to exercise his free speech right and share his real opinions !

The funny part is that a metal file turns most semi's into full auto rifles.

That .308 wooden stock ' hunting rifle' that no one seems to have issue with, is easily turned into a fully automatic weapon.

Are you joking??? A wood stocked hunting rifle is easily turned into a full auto??? Seriously???

The bolt had to be cycled to chamber a round. What you are saying is beyond ridiculous and I implore you to do some actual research.

And does he have an ample supply of Ammo for the cannon on that tank??? Of course he dosent.
