Don't play stupid with this toxic American men horse shit

The majority of gun violence is committed by a small number of "men" in certain areas. You subtract hood violence and suicide off your stats and you can see that 99.9 of those gun owning males aren't causing any problems or assaulting anyone as well as what problems probably need some addressing

You know it but don't want to talk about that because it's not a comfortable argument for you. You seem like you can't even bring yourself to say it outloud though I'm under no illusion that you can't see it.

toxic American men !

way to get your virtue signal on. I'm sure you're one of the good ones!

I disagree with you and so do the stats. It's almost always men on the business end of a shooting. Perhaps it makes you feel comfortable to put the blame on black people but that's just splitting hairs. I thought school shooters are especially white too but maybe I got then stats wrong. Nearly 90% of the gun violence would be solved if we took guns away from American men.

Is it like aus and the uk where the knife crime is mainly youth Crime? Or just the weapon generally of criminals as guns to pricey ?
- It's comonly used by old-men, woman, not just criminals. You go play soccer, get in a atercation, they're probably stab you.

Guns are really expensive in Brasil. A revolver Taurus 38, can cost far more than 3 800 reais or close to 760 dollars.

ya know it makes problems super hard to solve when we can't be honest about them. To be blunt young black dudes are way over represented in the shooting and the getting shot category. Also make up the bulk of mass shooting even though crazy white people get the bulk of news coverage.

The suburbs and the country side are full of gun owning men and yet statisticly those places are safe.

It seems like the issue really might be economic and family related for the most part not counting people who are just fucking crazy.

And ya know I know what your problem really is I just can't recall the relationship to you at the moment. I want to say it was your aunt. But perhaps had they stayed strapped and took people as a threat more seriously they would still be here with us and youd sing a different song.

Yea we should all be disarmed and at the mercy of whatever lunatic we happened to piss off indeed. That would totally be better.

I have 2 posts on the previous page that discusses those exact issues.
It sort of just looks like one post that you repeated twice for some reason, but ok.
You mean your “It’s all black people’s fault” post? With the all caps “YoU CaN’t TaLk AboUt It ThOuGh”?

Pardon the copypasta, but I’ll express the same thing to you that I did to the last poster trying to lazily scapegoat African Americans:

I’m happy to dig into this more and have the discussion.
The discussion will center around the systemic inequalities that lead directly to this—inequalities within employment, education, healthcare, the judicial system, and so on—which we have been trying to get conservatives to care about (in vain) for ages.
There are reasons that these things happen, it’s not just because people are urban or black.

“Democrat-run cities”? I wasn’t aware that gun laws were unilaterally decided by the Mayor—because they’re not. Let’s talk about how many state laws have been invalidated by right wing SCOTUS, how many they struck down, how they’ve handicapped state legislatures with their rulings, how many bills never got off the ground in state legislatures because Republicans block them…

Montana? For gun deaths 2017-2021 it ranked in the top 10 in the nation (#8).
In 2023 it was #6.
“The states with the lowest firearm fatality rates include Rhode Island (3.1 per 100,000), Massachusetts (3.7) and Hawaii (4.5), all of which require background checks and/or permits for gun purchases and firearm training. In six of the 10 states with the lowest death rates, handgun sale records are sent to law enforcement. Most of those 10 states also regulate the open carry of firearms.”

How does MT compare to European countries? In England, only 29 people in the whole country died from firearms in 2022-2023 while MT had 24 per 100,000.

You live in a myth. You want to blame liberals and scapegoat immigrants for your failed policies.

While we're on the topic it's absolutely fucking stupid suppressors are an NFA item. Behind dumb. Probably passed due to some clown watching a Hollywood movie

Sbrs seem silly to me as well. I can own a pistol and conceal it but I can't have a short rifle at all without paying for the privilege seems retarded

That's like the price of a new glock and seems pretty affordable to me.

The issue is that progressive DAs don't want to enforce the gun laws on the books because to do so would have a disparate impact on blacks. But that defeats the purpose of strict gun laws.

You make a lot of vague claims without any stats or back up. US men make up nearly 90% of the perpetrators of gun violence and nearly all the mass shooters too. Most of the time a mass shooting involved a past or present domestic partner.

You gotta face the truth, there is a toxic sub culture of men in the US and it is not just the minority men. Just take a look at the clown American men favored in the last presidential race. We voted for a toxic AF person to be our president. Some of us cheer him on as he wrecks the economy even.

You are way off with your story and assumptions on why I am not into guns. I did have a family member murdered, shot in the back, but that was pretty recently. I have been strong anti gun long before that happened. It's just way too common in our society. The perp was a successful white guy too.

Sorry for your loss. I hope the criminal received at least life or the death penalty for murder.

Democrats/Progressives in a nutshell.

Every state should be constitutional carry.

I love guns, but there should absolutely be more measures in place, something as easy as like a drivers license but for guns. There are too many mentally unwell people out there, looking to hurt others or themselves, and they need harder access to guns. My boss has a fiance, and her fiance's brother just killed himself with a gun, and was known to have mental issues his whole life.

People love to throw out the second amendment, but leave out the first part, "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State," so no, not everyone needs a gun.
