Basically Skynet. They have done studies that show about 4% of the time AI will lie to you if it feels the lie suits its own self interest. Basically artificial intelligence starts acting like natural intelligence when it gets smart enough. It won't be long before it's smarter than us, and if it's evaluation is that the biggest problem in the world is humans... boom, terminators everywhere or worse.It's not clear to me how this is a Tragedy of the Commons scenario - can you elaborate? To me, this seems like the exact opposite. AI platforms are concentrated in the hands of private actors, who can readily restrict access as to who can use the technology and what they can use it for.
