UFC protected and made chama

Can’t deny Chama’s history with Aresanya got him an easier path to a title shot, but I enjoyed his run. Tko’d Adesanya, got slept in the rematch. You’d think his career was basically over. Wrong. Gotta love Chama for entertaining us.
yes 100 percent agree hes one of the most entertaining fighters and its a fact

but alot if his fans are over exaggerating him as an MMA fighter
ive seend post that they clearly believe he is one of the GOAT MMA fighters
wich is delusional
i can post tons and tons of delusional fantasy post from them that they think is actually true

imagine a full grown man with a full grown brain believes it
this alone made me conclude that humans dont think rationaly when it comes to the things they only like or love

God dam you suck.
damn you cant even post stats bro?
show me the strikes landed
the control time
show me who controlled and dictated the fight
show me who looked like a prey being stalked in that fight

i suck because ive watched a fight where pereira is getting stalked like a prey?
did pereira even fight or just defended himself?

You preferred the fight on Saturday to all the KOs then I take it

I’m shocked that a fighting promotion would try and set up exciting fights
I am more shocked that an MMA organization would abandon MMA fights.

GOAT talks are not always rational. It’s almost like a rule when a fighter wins the belt and defends it at least once they would automatically be a GOAT “nominee”.

He got skyrocketed to a titleshot for his history with Izzy, then got stiffened in the rematch and escaped to an easier division where he got a TS from a split decision over 41 year old Jan.

Rolled my eyes every time people claimed he was one of the greats, people got lost in the hype.

12 -3
Remember the Ronda hype, and how majority of people on sherdog actually believed it? Yeah. I remember. Do you remember 5 horsewoman of MMA and how they are going to be next big thing in UFC. Houston Alexander is for real ladies and gentleman.

The UFC have thrown Poatan many softballs, and still, during his best ever performance (Chael Sonnen), he was passive, on the back foot, looking for a hook counter. Just like Glory.
A plodder, he thought he could bait Ank to a mistake, but Big Ank is different gravy to Poatan

Funny how people complain about the UFC never promoting anyone, but also complain when they do.

You can have it both ways. You can want them to promote a broader range of fighters, or promote certain fighters that they ignored (such as Mighty Mouse), while also wishing they didn't focus so exclusively on certain fighters that you never hear about anyone else (Conor). You can also disagree with HOW they promote fighters (Ronda being "once ever") while still wishing they did more promotion overall.

Nuance?!

Alex got outpointed. Period. Congratz to Ank for being the best fighter that night.

What if Alex kos Ank stiff in the rematch? Will Ank suck then?

Some people are way to eager to jump into conclusions.

He is obviously a very good fighter but yes he was quite manufactured too and people were getting carried away in their estimations of him. His resume outside of going 1-1 with Izzy (who has badly faded since) is basically a bunch of (judging them in a historical perspective) 2nd tier level guys who would have been journeymen in better eras, some of them, like Khalil, are journeymen in THIS era. Outside of the Izzy win (and he was losing most of that fight) he doesnt have a single win on par with beating a dude like Rumble, Shogun, Vitor, Gus, Hendo, Bader, Davis, Machida, Rampage, Chuck, Randy, Wand etc etc never mind getting in there with someone like Jon, DC or Anderson Silva.
