It's basically an expensive placebo selling advice you can get anywhere else for free though. Kind of the mental health equivalent of Chinese medicine.

For every person it helps there's bound to be desperate people that lose money and don't get any better.

Although tbh the lack of mental health support available for people does leave room for grifters to fill the void and prey on the vulnerable.

If some people find it useful I guess that's fine for them but my question would be do these people have a point where someone has mental health problems which they clearly can't deal with and they tell them and refer them to somebody who can, or do they continue to take the money of that person and continue what they're doing with them anyway, akin to people trying to treat cancer with tumeric or whatever.
