I would think super cards wouldn't exist anymore, they'd probably spread the big fights out a little more evenly. And if assume closer to $30 a month, possibly more. WWE was already giving away WrestleMania and all of that with WWE Network before Netflix. So it would probably not work quite the same. But a flat yearly/bi yearly subscription should make them more money in the long run.

Ive never paid for a wwe ppv, but I assumed they were cheaper than UFC or boxing. Considering how often their wrestlers do matches I assume it's an easier business model to merge to that format.

Netflix will consistently raise prices every chance they get. I don't really find much of their content worthwhile. There is zero quality control. They cancel shows far too often for me to invest any time in them either. Before we know it, it will be at least $34.99, which is a $10 increase.

I understand the slow walk that they've been doing(I initially signed up way back when it was like $7.99 a month, LOL), but these are HUGE deals they're making, and they have to make that money back. The WWE shit is crazy enough. People would pay $20 bucks just for that. Add the UFC to that(I'm assuming the PPV's will be on there as well), and it just seems unsustainable at what it costs right now.

I see a BIG hike coming in the near future. No nickel and dime shit. Just BAM, double the price.

Fox treated them like a red headed step child and ESPN has literally been operating at a financial loss the last few years. Just the nature of the business, networks are either in fear of overpaying or don't have as deep of pockets as they use too compared to these other alternatives like Netflix or Amazon.

They can't raise their prices too high because they still have competition. Adding the UFC will help towards eliminating that rather than the focus being squarely on profit.

If this rumor comes to fruition it had zero to do with your idea.

First off, Netflix is about to give the UFC a 50% raise in yearly rights fees revenue. Secondly, it isn't the first time I've heard that idea. Last, but not least, ESPN overpaying for NFL and NBA content while sourcing out Inside the NBA and giving personalities like SAS a 5/$100 million is why they're not willing to pay up to keep the UFC. ESPN+ is stagnating in regards to subscribers and ESPN is looking to pivot from ESPN+ and cable to a third party approach.
