How is that revisionist? Guys like Marvin and Costa were top 5 for years. In a division now that has Dricus, Imavov, Sean, Khamzat, Izzy, Rob, Caio, Fluffy those guys would never sniff top 5. They benefitted off a weak division.

The division back then not have anywhere near the depth it does now. Lettuce not forget Edmen Shabazyan was the next big thing @ MW and number 1 ranked prospect at the weight for a while till he got exposed. We've had much better prospects the past 2, 3 years. Someone like Christian Leroy Duncan is a better talent and prospect than Edmen was and people have forgotten about him now.

Not only were Costa and Marvin top 5 for years the likes of Holland, Till, Edmen, Kelvin, Hall were ranked top 10 for a while too. Holland, Till, Kelvin were fat WWs who had a big losing record at MW but the division was so weak they didn't get booted from the rankings for a while. Fucking Andre Muniz was seen as a legit option for a title shot at one point LMAOOO stop it. In 2025 well rounded really good MWs like Robocop and Iron Turtle can't even get ranked. They would have been easily top 10 and Robocop probably top 5 back then.
