Holloway won. Been watching both these guys my entire adult life. Bittersweet fight. Poirier is one of the most exciting fighters the sport has ever seen. As is Max. Max just has a bit more in the tank at this stage. Which is kind of insane that Max still has anything left in the tank after the career he's had. These guys are both absolute legends.

The three middle rounds were competitive, but Holloway has an argument for winning each round. Good fight.

Don't want to see Max against another power puncher next though. Give him Paddy or Arman (whichever one doesn't fight for the belt next).
