Rumored Tyson Fury vs Manuel Charr

Hmmmm. So lets look at this objectively....
1. AJ should concede to all things Fury is requiring.
2. Usyk can not make the date and is injured
3. A 4th Wilder fight makes no sense and is to dangerous
4. Joyce is too dangerous too risk losing a unification chance to. Plus may not agree to short turnaround.
5. Are the old guard "B team" of Ruiz, Ortiz, Whyte, Chisora, Parker honestly any better at this point? I think inwould throw Dubois into this category too.

6. None of the other younger prospects are remotely ready or interesting. Sanchez. The old Chinese Olympian coming off a loss. Hrgovic looked bad in that lucky win. Anderson too young & is fresh off training with Fury. Hunter mehhh. That giant Russian looked bad in his win as well.

If the plan is to stay busy until Usyk heals and AJ won't concede..... As crazy as it sounds its hard to fault him.

Im open to logical suggestions that might make sense that I missed. Lets hear them.
I don't think this is an illogical post but I think you're being a bit silly with #5.

the "old guard" isn't better than Manuel Charr? like.

c'mon

thank god there's another free of the mob mentality
Yeah thats one of the 3 worst things on the forum right now.
-Fanboy mobs crying their guy won or robbery
-Hater mobs who have to discredit EVERYTHING a fighter has done in life because they dont like them.
-Then the people who are so married to a bold claim or speculation just because they dont want to look wrong. They will ignore the holes in the story.

How all over the place can it be really. Promoters are the biggest shysters on earth, to pick one over another as a truth teller is kind of ridiculous.
But I'm pointing out both agree on the contract seemingly being a mess. If it were just Eddie, I'd ignore it and leave it down to Eddie's a nutter but how often does Warren echo what Hearn says?

Im listening....I admit its a bit of a "hot take"... but not the spiciest. Some validity????

Just my 2 cents. Not saying you're wrong.
I look at like this.
When it comes to contracts terms like "stuff" & "b.s." dont mean anything.

A.J. is in no position to require or request anything. Fury just threw him one of the greatest life lines of all time.

AJ & Hearn need to clearly communicate what they are not willing to bow to. Or call Fury's bluff and sign it already.
Its not calling Fury's bluff if they dont put pen to paper or if they make changes advantageous for AJ.

If not, its another case of FAST EDDIE.

Sure Fury is going to play mind games and be a prick to negotiate with. Why piss him off if you want the fight when you have no leverage.

Both sides could be playing the same games for all we know.

Lot of valid points here especially that last one

AJ has a big money new exclusive deal with DAZN and Fruy is excusive with BT sport.......fairly sure this makes things a little less straight forward than sign the contract doser hence why todays conversations have been between the promotors and the broadcasters

Objectively, from the outset who did this fight look a bad idea for?

neither. This is an absolute gift for Joshua. Getting a title shot after 2 losses. He should be a good few fights away from a shot at least. Why would he not take it and be left in the proverbial wilderness for 2-3 years

It’s a shit load of money for fury and a legacy fight for him, though not the fight he should be looking at right now. and it’s a risk based in what potentially is at stake, even though he’ll be heavy favourite.

If I believed that this was a real offer at the start, I would be truly perplexed as to why it isn’t happening. As it is I’m not in any way surprised

I guess its more that i seriously am not sure if Manuel Charr has ever beaten anyone of note. Ever.

whereas most of those guys at least beat each other and a few of them have some good wins. Just seems like those are B level guys. Then there is the C level guys like....Helenius and Jarrell Miller probably and maybe even Charles Martin

i think Charr is in the D Level group tbh

Thats fair.. c or d sure

That's about where I rate Charr as well. At best he's a C- fighter but realistically more of a D level. He's been used as a sacrificial lamb for years. Fury just wants a soft touch in order to not risk undisputed (assuming he actually intends to face Usyk sometime early next year). Fury vs Joshua isn't happening so this is what we'll be getting for now.

Tyson Fury becoming annoying.. im starting to think this nice guy persona of his fake af.
Of course his nice guy persona is fake. Fury is a total fraud. It's no stretch to call him the biggest con artist in all of boxing. He needs to either shit or get off the pot. That is, fight Usyk for undisputed early next year (by no later than April) or vacate his WBC title and actually retire. Fans are sick of his constant bullshit and wild goose chases. It's time for him to get with the program or kindly fuck off already.

Fucking shit fight. He should have at least fought a southpaw as prep for Usyk, and Charr is gonna pose zero of the issues the lighter, mobile Usyk would. However i don't begrudge Charr the payday, as it's a miracle he's still boxing after being shot in the stomach a few times and having a double hip replacement. Serious guy shouldn't be any near a fucking ring, so respect to him for that.

Having dealt with substance issues many years ago, it almost sounds like Tyson is using boxing to stay on the straight and narrow and does not give AF about what fans think, who the opponent is, and just needs these structured goals to keep on track. Having to wait months could possibly be too mentally taxing for the type of disease he has, leave him open to possibly relapse or something. He is a very smart dude but he admitted he partied after the Wilder fight and looked s drunken mess in France.

The reasons fans think it is, I.E. " He is afraid of AJ and Usyk because he knows he will lose" just simply are not true. You don't simply get over being bi-polar and an alcoholic/drug addict.....you may have good stretches but the demon is always there.

Stop making lame excuses for the guy. He knows what time it is. If he doesn't care what the fans think or want then why the fuck should we care about him? It's because of the fans that he's made a fortune. Fury must be held accountable if he doesn't fight Usyk in his next couple fights. There are no passes or get out of jail free cards. No sympathy or empathy for his psychological wellbeing. He's milked that shit for long enough. Face the best or retire. It's that simple.

Damn. Way to set Tyson Fury straight. You'll run his career much better than he has. I mean what a complete mess he's made of it, he must be embarrassed at his hundreds of millions and all those belts cluttering things up. How very dare he!

It's about time the heavyweight champ of the world, boxings biggest draw, owner of it's most memorable trilogy in decades, multiple world title holder-
was held accountable by Kovalev's Man Bag. You're so strict on him. It's very tough. We are all very impressed the way you call him to account. I can't wait to see him jump into line.

Hopefully he fights Joshua.
