His boxing actually looked sloppy as hell. No better than Francis' to be honest.

Fury's punching technique has always been crap. The man literally was known for punching himself in the face. He has compensated for it by having more speed and elusiveness than other men of his size.

He compensated by competing in the worst HW division probably of all time. Several boxers of the past would beat this overrated idiot

Sylvia didn't train for that fight, he came in over 300lbs an absolute slob.

And the fight was over with the first punch thrown basically.

Sylvia was also suspect to getting caught cold, Randy dropped him early and Fedor blitzed him. He just sleepwalked through the first couple of minutes of a fight. Those are definitely the type of guys who can get smoked by a boxer in MMA, Donald Cerrone is probably another.

You have to get the guy on the ground immediately or chop his legs, landing a bomb is literally a boxer's only chance of winning.

With a great showing by Francis in his boxing debut, I think it opens up for so many possibilities for him in boxing. Now we hear Wilder and Francis should match up and fight. Who do you think wins in this possible boxing match?

I honestly don’t see that Francis power has translated to boxing so far from what I can see.

He never landed anything like Tank Davis or Wilder lands on people.

Reminded me of the Floyd vs Conor fight people were saying Conor had all this ko power but his punches didn’t have any power at all against Floyd.

That too, but he's still a big lump who can move around the ring, that's hard to deal with for anyone that doesn't possess the raw power and strength that Ngannou does. Wilder had the power, but he's naturally a 220 pound guy, not a 270 pound monster like Ngannou.

Fury has never been ragdolled the way he was against Francis.

Always remember that Fury is a fucking giant. This needs to never be lost in discussions about his performances. It's the ace up his sleeve that can mask a ton of marching powder and KFC.

Most men ultimately cannot overcome his size. When he comes in fat off the couch, this may undermine his technical performance but can also compound the physical challenge presented to his opponent.

We saw with Wilder 2 and 3, which were at similar weights to Francis, that Wilder just physically couldn't handle the extra weight. Even if you are lucky enough to get a bum version of Fury, you will still crumble unless you are one of the few guys who can handle the size.

Rumor has it that coks keeps you sharp between the ears.
Did you see how fast he was twitchin'?

Joshua of 5 years ago probably, he's gunshy as fuck nowadays look how long it took him to get Helenius out of there lol.

Usyk fight is not dead since Fury still holds one of the belts and Usyk wants to unify. Hearn is just trying to get his client, AJ, a title.

Hahah because Francis can't also eye gouge ? That's the issue with martial arts that think that groin strikes and eye gouging makes them automatically win. The trained MMA fighter has all their usual skills AND can eye gouge and groin strike, both of which require no real training.

You don't need to train that stuff, just putting yourself in the domiant position and being able to land that stuff is enough.
It changes the game completely though...Fury has the reach to land that stuff first and it largely negates grappling.

Thats not really the situation. Yes he is the harder puncher but lets be honest.

This was a pretend fight that fury was ment to carry to entertain saudi money.

Im suprised mike tyson allowed him to try and steal the win when a competitive fury would finish him on 2. Boxing lost last night

U shouldn't try to deny qhat is patently obvious - that ngannou is much better at boxing rhan virtually the entire boxing world thought and instead of giving the man the plaudits he deserves, you try to rescue boxing's tattered dignity by running him down instead.....

Ngannou is a counter puncher. After fury felt his power thatbwas sufficient to knock him down in the third round, fury did not dare anymore to give him the opening to knock him out. Ngannou hits harder thna wilder or pretry muchbany other boxer - it is merely that ngannou cannot keep punching wirh that level of power throughout the fight unlike wilder etc becsuse he is used to 3 to 5 round fights rather than 10 round fights and thus doesn't have the conditioning for it.
