Home Game (Netflix). Decent enough little 30 time passer looking at wacky sports around the world. First episode on Italian brutal mma/rugby game was decent enough. I binged it in a day, but it was nothing special. I kinda would have preferred each episode to be a bit longer

That Italian MMA/Rugby hybrid is fucking nuts. It's so brutal that even the champions only play three games per year.

I'm a fan of the show. As we (@Ignicious and I) expected, he didn't do well. We don't expect him to fare better in the redemption round either.

Watched a few episodes of the 1970s Charlie's Angels and Wonder Woman. My wife is a fan of those shows, me too in a way. The shows doesn't hold up at all. So many faceplam moments between the two, especially WW. Best thing about Charlie's Angels was it was the burn the bra era. So unlike your imaginary Haley Atwell pokies, there's plenty of actual Farrah Fawcett pokies.

MacGyver holds up pretty well though.
 
I need a new TV show. Perry Mason really isn't doing it.

need something to really grab me, like Mr. Robot, & Mr. Inbetween.

any suggestions?
 
A Brave New World came out today, halfway through episode 2. Not gonna spoiler the book its like 200 pages If you haven't read it go take a few shits.

I like the expansion of the universe bringing in America a bit more. I can say the lead was cast because her face (not her body) resembles Demi Moore who is also in this series as an alcoholic hoe.

If your straining for content like me, I say start the binge fellahs. Not sure what service this is on I have netflix atm other then that yarr im a pirate.

Edit: End of episode 2, pleasant surprise. The wedding is all Shakespeare. They seem to be throwing bones to the book readers. Might watch episode 3 later tonight.

HBO Max and Matt Reeves, the filmmaker behind the new Batman movie, have teamed up to develop a police drama series set in the crime-infested streets of the Caped Crusader’s hometown Gotham City.

Terence Winter, who created the Prohibition crime drama Boardwalk Empire and cut his teeth on The Sopranos, will write and executive produce the series, which is coming with a series commitment from HBO Max. Batman producer Dylan Clark and Warner Bros. Television are also involved.

The series does not yet have a title, although some have been calling it Gotham Central, harkening back to the police procedural comic from writers Ed Brubaker and Greg Rucka, and GCPD. Either way, it would deal with police detectives working in the shadow of one very batlike vigilante.

Here’s the cool wrinkle: The show will operate in the same story universe as Reeves’ movie, The Batman, which stars Robert Pattinson as Batman. It also has Jeffrey Wright in the role of detective or police commissioner James Gordon.

HBO Max says the series will be "set in the world Reeves is creating for The Batman feature film and will build upon the motion picture’s examination of the anatomy of corruption in Gotham City, ultimately launching a new Batman universe across multiple platforms. The series provides an unprecedented opportunity to extend the world established in the movie and further explore the myriad of compelling and complex characters of Gotham."

It is unclear whether Wright and Pattinson would appear in the show. No castings have been made at this early stage, sources say.

Have you given Upload a go, loveyface? It's not as grip your seat but it has the element of poignant and funny. I loved it, it got a second season immediately whenever they can start filming again. I really really loved it. Report back!

Tried to watch Rick n Morty a few years ago but lost interest.
