It depends on what policies they are championing at the time. I didn't vote Trump btw, but he was running on issues moderates like such as border control. Obama ran on issues moderates like such as free health care.

In this election cycle Kamala wasn't promoting free health care and was partly responsible for the border crisis.

We aren't going to get out and vote on issues you aren't making campaign promises with that we like and want.
