I would argue as well that the biggest reason you do is that the current status quo suits the ultra wealthy very well, a lot of them may welcome Trumps tax cuts and general deregulation but they don't want some dictator in power who could potentially come after them.

If that is the case then why did billionaires vote for Kamala by a more than 2 to 1 ratio and outspend the Republican party by at least that same ratio?

That is legally complete BS for the reason that the constitution very specifically defines three separate but EQUAL branches. It also specifically grants the office of the president much greater tangible powers than any other individual in the government.

I guess you haven't noticed, but that is why everything around The President of the United States is kind of a big deal. That person is not only recognized as the leader of the country but the leader of the world.
