Okay but genuinely, don't we essentially just take it for granted these people will villify each other until it's not convenient and then do an about face?

Is this just essentially the left saying the same stuff that was said about Kamala and Biden because the pick was just announced and it's expected.

In short...you (or anyone) don't actually think it's different do you?
 
Imagine Running for a higher political office and you and your team decide to pick a person who comapred Trump to Hilter and hated you.
While also he supported the war in Iraq at a think tank.

Republicans, minus the handful of true believers like MTG, probably hate Trump more than Democrats actually do. At least Democrats can talk shit about him publicly. Republicans have to kiss the ring and do all sorts of humiliating acts of obeisance to him.

If you want to know what they really think of him, just got back to 2015-2016 when they were calling him a psychopath, a pathological liar, Hitler, etc. It was only when they realized the inevitable direction the GOP was heading that they became the disingenuous hypocrites they currently are.

Kamala never dogwhistled that Biden was a racist or compared him Adolf Hitler.

This is a dumb move on the Trump Admin part, they had a lot of other people that have less baggage associated to villifying Trump. Ramaswamy was a better pick for him from the getgo. Even a random ass hail mary like Candace Owens would be a better bet.

It is not too hard to handle Kamala in debates. But they shot themselves in the foot by having a guy with so much anti-trump tags on him. It is too easy to skin him as a grifter.....

Ramaswamy would have been a much better choice.

Not sure how i feel about the pick but i dont like it.

Did Kamala do things like compare Biden to Hitler, call him cultural heroin, or an idiot, like Vance did to Trump? No. She opposed things on Biden’s past record, or disagreed with things he said. This happens during primaries, it isn’t new.
She was on record during those primaries saying she has a “great deal of respect” for Biden.

Meanwhile:

“I’m a Never Trump Guy. I never liked him.”
“My God what an idiot.”
“Reprehensible.”
“I go back and forth between thinking Trump might be a cynical asshole like Nixon who wouldn’t be that bad (and might even prove useful) or that he might be America’s Hitler. How’s that for discouraging?”
