I obviously completely disagree about Twitter. Even if it leaned left, conservatives had millions of followers there and were free to play by the rules. I know this because I argued with conservatives there the same way I do here, and it was a hell of a lot more challenging there. Twitter had a lot more people, and in that mix there were MUCH smarter people, left and right.
@Confucamus repeatedly saying Twitter is more "inclusive" now that it unbanned neo Nazis and hate mongers and indiscriminately banned any liberal journalists Catturd didn't like is both ridiculous and ghoulish. I had a Twitter account for a very long time and Elon wrecked the site. Demolished it. Politics aside, every one of his mechanical changes has damaged the user experience, and I never go there any more.
From what I understand about the Reddit upvote system (admittedly not very much) is that if the site leans one way, certain topics will become very prominent and others will be buried. That sounds like a bad model. I don't think I'd like only seeing the posts only the majority likes.
I objected to your desire to see a site you don't like burned to the ground. I obviously don't have any desire to go to Truth or Rumble, but have never said they should be crushed. Twitter was NEVER as much of an echo chamber as those places.
