Well to be fair,
Francis was kind of once a decade plus opportunity for an org like PFL. The number 1 HW, UFC champ, and he is available. The UFC rarely ever lets that happen. 99% of time they come to terms. Have they got there money out him. I guess it depends on how you look at it. It is big reason why Saudi's invested into PFL. That is why Francis probably only going to fight over there. I won't doubt it if they are covering his purse or most of it. Then you add in just all the free run they got because of they have Francis. There is no doubt that looking at it just from a purse stand point that it is a losing proposition all day long for an org like the PFL, but there is more to it than just that.
Kayla long wanted out, she ran her course with them. She was gone regardless of anything PFL could do. MVP ran his course. Pitbull same thing.
Good portion of the other guys are what everyone is making fun of for GFL signing.
Should've kept Pico, but Pico is kind of the poster child of what is happen. There is a massive disconnect between PFL brass and its fighters. That I can't understand why they don't fix that. So many of these B level orgs can't see more than a few months out at any giving time and everyone else is left hanging. That mindset is what you see playing out over the last year or so. PFL needs a major reorganization of their business behind the scenes and get shit under control. Lay out a year game plan so you can actually talk to your fighters about future bouts. But up to this point they really have dropped the ball on this merger.
