News Top Talent Exodus occurring in PFL

I don’t blame the PFL for not running the Bellator events still. Bellator went broke for a reason. Think they should move most of the top talent to the season eg Pitbull, Pico, Mix, Eblen. Just keep the big names like Usman, Francis, Cyborg in the super fights league.

Why would the top Bellator talent take pay cuts to join the season when they would make the million in 2-3 bouts anyways?
Also it’s not a million, it’s just 500K for 2 of the playoff bouts, since it’s not a million dollar cheque, they just top up your purse to get a million off those two bouts

He wants to leave but he's not free to do so and if PFL is offering him title fights in Bellator they probably arent gonna let him go. And if he fights and beats Eblen he'll be stuck in a longer contract so its a good opportunity to get a title fight but its in Bellator and winning puts you in a worse position as crazy as that is to say. You're in a longer contract in a second rate org with nobody to fight and limited cards to fight on.
it will be harder for the champs to leave, PFL might end up making them happy like ok Mix we'll give you a BW div in PFL, pay you a bit more and he'll shut up. Maybe do same with Pitbull and Anderson and even if they are pissed they have contracts and they are long and extend and they arent just gonna be able to get out of them. You're more likely to see some of the contenders in Bellator leave. Guys who dont get brought over and arent champs and can actually get out of contracts when there over. Dont think you'll see USman, Eblen, Mix in UFC anytime in the near future.

Cause the UFC is not gonna pay them 300k. And Bellator is done. They probably got the contract to make those 200-400k but who got the money to pay it.
Do their contracts state they must be given fights like the UFC 3x a year ?
Seems One and PFL tried to buy their way to compete with the UFC and don't got the profits to run the events with the fighters they shoped. The UFC has been doing it for 3 decades. Droping a couple mils isn't the shortcut the competition hoped for.
Btw who is Mix ?
Bellator used big names from the UFC who were old and tried to sell events of that. 45 year old Roy Nelson and Fedor.
Kinda hard to establish new guys as names when the sport is more known as UFC than as MMA. Dana put in work for 30 years.

In this sub forum. So 135er, I do watch some 135ers in the UFC. This sub forum is for global mma outside the UFC.
I watched to much sport fighting to keep up with all the new talent and events at my current age. Used to watch it all. Now only selectively. I do check out all results from UFC events. Strikeforce was the best non UFC organisation. Can't count pride fc, that is like the original UFC, like what UFC is now, the best thing.

He is pushing 40... 37 prime is fading hope he makes his mark in the UFC showing he was always a top Featherweight even if he was in Bellator.

PFL has been in the red for a good while too though, reality is that NA does not give a shit about non-UFC MMA.

Thing is everybody wants to catch up to the UFC and I don't think that's the smart play. I think it's okay to be a secondary much like AEW, NJPW and TNA are to the WWE. I think first PFL needs to release the Bellator guys if they are not going to use them. Internal issues don't help as a whole. Second, stop recycling the same people within the industry. For example, Ray Sefo was the President of WSOF and now he is President in the PFL. Obviously, it's not working.
Third, my concern is I don't think they know how to create stars. I would say they did a poor job with Harrison and now they have Ditcheva and potentially Paul Hughes. My concern is that they will sit on them and then UFC will pick them up and make them stars.

I think by saying they will be doing 50 fight cards a year starting in 2026 is their way of telling them to hang on.
