A general practitioner is a real doctor and knows what they're doing. People go for annual checkups and get the ol' finger up the butt to check for issues back there. There a reason they do it, and it's not worthless. But guess what? They still recommend a colonoscopy every 5 years once people turn 45 to screen for cancer. Why? Because your family general medicine doc is limited in what they can do on that front.

I'm pro science, pro vaccine, pro modern medicine...but the number of people who think doctors are some kind of wizards is insane. I'm sure every person here has multiple stories about a doctor being completely wrong about something, sometimes even about major issues. There's no magic, they are looking shit up and taking best guesses.

You don't need a doctor opinion on anything to accept that getting eye fucked in both eyes is fight ending. Everybody who eye pokes should get a one point deduction right away. I think I remember reading a stat recently where ppl who get eye poked lose the fight either 80 or 90% of the time. Could you quote where I said we should fire ANYONE? Exactly how dumb are you?

The doctors do the best they can within restraints of the situation. Very obvious things can be detected with a pen light and a couple minutes to look. They rule out those, but cannot check for other types of damage that quickly.

It's embarrassing that I need to spell this out to you.
