Ya. Chimaev responded to some Izzy post. Now they’re fighting at 300 as well.Lol "rumored", incoming BS 15 page thread based off a cryptic IG post not even mentioning Aspinall.

I saw a post on Reddit about Alex Pereira's Instagram story, where he seems to be teasing a UFC 300 fight.
The story says:
30 + 300 = 3
People in the comments think it means 30 (Aspinall's age) + 300 (UFC 300) = 3 (champion in 3 weight divisions).
It sounds like a massive fight. I have my doubts about Pereira's chances, but you've got to admire his willingness to go for something so bold.
What do you think about this potential superfight ? Could this be the big fight Dana White's been hinting at?
Why not? These are the kinds of fights I wanna see on ufc 300. Champ vs champ. One guy getting the opportunity to become the first ever to win a belt in 3 weight classes. Tom wouldn't have a reach or power advantage. Just a big weight and grappling advantage he'd likely use to submit Alex or grind out a decision. Still would wanna see it though
Poatan has a puncher chance against any man on Earth. But Aspinall will definitely be a huge favorite. Size + grappling is a massive advantage o overcome. Are you sure about that?
I think Aspinall clearly has a size, power, reach, grappling and speed advantage. Added to the fact he has been an MMA specialist since he was a young lad.
I can’t see Perreira having the slightest chance tbh.
In fact the intrigue only exists from the minuscule probability that somehow Poatan pulls this off.
I don’t think so!

Tom likely would ragdoll him. I doubt he'd stand and throw with Alex.
That said, would watch.
Alex's reach is 79
Tom's reach is 78
You're just saying shit without critically analyzing the fight and considering if its actually true or not.
Nowhere in my post did I favor Alex to win, I just think it would be a good fight.
Tom verifiably does not have a reach advantage. Tom is super fast for a HW, but I don't think he has a speed advantage of Pereira, who has lightning fast calf kicks and a left hook. Pereira is known for having crazy power at 185 and 205. I think the power of each is pretty comparable. I'd have a hard time making a convincing case for either having the power advantage. Now Tom absolutely has a size, strength and grappling advantage, and because of those things I'd favor Tom to win. But I think the fight is way more intriguing if you actually critically analyze the matchup. I could see a reality where Alex lands 2 or 3 nasty calf kicks in the opening minute and shuts down one of Tom's legs, then Tom, unable to move, gets caught by a crushing left hook.
You said Tom has a reach advantage. He verifiably does not. It just highlights that you're not doing even 2 seconds of critical analysis here.Sorry mate. But no. Just no. The power of an elite HW striker who weighs 260lbs + cannot be compared to a guy who fights at 205lbs. Physics and all that.
Aspinall walked through a Pavlovich right hand, he has taken shots from far bigger hitters than Pereira. Let's not pretend that Alex has a chin capable of absorbing hits either. Izzy literally flatlined him.
Wherever this fight goes, if it happens, Tom Aspinall has the advantage.
How is this not 300 main event worthy? I get if you think this fight shouldn't be made because you may think there are better match ups for one, or either of them. But it still seems like a real superfight at the heighest weightclasses, between two very exciting fighters that are fairly popular and that's what I personally would like as a main event.

There's also plenty of evidence of lhw power carrying over well to heavyweight. Rumble Johnson as an example. Ryan Bader. Many more. You're insane If you think one of the consensus heaviest punchers ever in mma at lhw, doesn't have power to rival a heavyweight.
