Tom Aspinall said JJ wants the fight

Tom Aspinall --- "he wants the fight. He hates the fact that he's going to sleep with many people saying I am better than him. So he acts like he doesn't care, like he is above me, but that's all projection. He has a gigantic ego. He wants that fight badly. It sucks for him because I've been watching him for a long time, I know many of his tricks, his tendencies, since I am like him, I study my opponents a lot, and he has little data of me. I am a big question mark for him. That will make him unable to sleep all nights".

Hmm... I think this pretty much nails it, that JJ will take the fight, but I also agree that JJ sees it as a huge challenge. But... Rampage Jackson also kept JJ from sleeping and that worked in JJ's favor, so I dunno if making JJ willing to fight but at the same time apprehensive is a good idea, like, JJ may perform even better in situations like this.

I don't think, I may be wrong tho, but I don't think Dana would be so confident like that if he knew JJ didn't want the fight. Beforehand, he'd be way more open to JJ retiring, he'd say "well, I'd like for him to defend against Tom, but if he retired well that's too bad but it's his choice". The fact he is way more vocal about it now, to me, implies he listened from JJ that Jon wants the fight... I think it had been discussed with Dana already, also the fact that JJ would want more money and all that, and would maybe even hold it to increase the interest of the fans... IMO
