Mate my comments were a response to another post claiming Francis ran from Jon.
He was the underdog at the time. Jones and the UFC were not.
Francis' financial legacy is now set which affords him the freedom to do whatever he wants with his career without the financial pressure... basically the opposite of where he was at when contracted to the UFC
There'll be a host of reasons when an organisation goes bankrupt, let's not catastrophise by blaming Francis for making what was clearly the right decision at the time. Wouldn't you have done the same thing as him...?
how is it catastrophising or whatever what Francis did? as soon as they signed him their 1m a year tournaments got cut in half, and half their roster wanted out and went to free agency because they say they weren't being given fights. that's 1 hell of a coincidence don't you think?
no, i would've beaten Jon Jones and then left.
come on, it's common sense and obvious that a big reason they're going under is because they severely overpaid for Francis. i'm not saying Francis did it maliciously or whatever you're trying to imply, i'm saying he's a big part of the reason they're going down.
