Yes Stipe is a low risk reward, but isn't Dominic Reyes a highly risky fight? Someone who has no heavy legacy and can beat him and almost did.

So why did he fight Dominic Reyes? That's a huge risk to his legacy imo.

He really wasn't cherry picking fights then, he was just fighting the next guy up which was why we got meaningless fights with Smith and Santos.

Past his prime and it's a high risk low reward type of a fight. Tom's BJJ might be good enough to ward off Jones ground threat, where as Jon saw a strong enough path to victory after seeing Francis vs Gane.
