Thanks mate. I did hit 175kg for a PR last year, but as of late have tried to do more volume in the upper percentages for that lift. I'm going to try for a 180kg squat before Christmas, although should really shoot for 182.5kg as that will take it over 400lbs.

I did 24 hours worth of overtime at the weekend - 2 nightshifts on top of my existing scheduled 4, so my sleep has been all over the place. I went to bed at 21:15 last night as I was struggling to keep my eyes open. At 03:00 I woke, and couldn't get back to sleep. I was meant to go to the gym yesterday to do squats, but was too tired so skipped it. This was obviously playing on my mind, so I decided to get dressed, have a quick bite to eat, and hit the gym to do what I shoud have done yesterday. Glad I did,177.5kg is a PR and that 180kg (hopefully 182.5kg) squat is now within reach.
