It’s actually a lil funny how the memory of things works collectively. Jones wasn’t doing great things at light heavyweight before he retired. He came back and quickly subbed the worst grappler he’s ever fought, and now he’s invincible.

If stripe’s for real here there might be some big money to be made on this fight.

I think the obvious strategy is that Jon wants to take him down and hellbow to sub or death, and I can see that being effective. But stipe is not gane on the mat and if he hits Jon enough, the grappling advantage can swing.

Jones's only chance is to keep the fight at a distance and find shots that Stipe is smart enough not to allow. Stipe is quicker, hits harder, has great wrestling and is resilient. Guess what, smart guy? ALL THOSE LOSSES happened after a decade of dominance and a crazy 30 fight streak. Stipe won’t even make it to his 30th fight. If he did, he would go on a cucuy losing streak lol. Fedor and Stipe are not comparable. All the great ones lose after years of dominance and damage to their body.

Lets look at Fedors "Decade of Dominance". How many of these guys he beat were really that good? His first PRIDE fight was kickboxer Semmy Schilt, who Had 9 loses at the time. Heath Herring, Big Nog,Valavicius, Fujita, OLD Garry Goodridge,Nagata,ancient Mark Coleman, UFC cast off Kevin Randleman, Ogawa, Big Nog, Kosaka, Cro cop, Martins, more ancient Mark Coleman, beginner Mark Hunt, ancient Matt Lindland, HONG MAN CHOI! That is his reign of tear in PRIDE. Take out Big Nog who had decent success in UFC and Cro cop who was a bust, and he beat nobody. I'm not saying Fedor wasn't good, but his level of competition in Japan wasn't any better than Miocic's in UFC. Then he beat FORMER UFC champs Sylvia, Arlovski. and Brett Rogers. Was he washed up then? He was finished 3 times in a row after that, to MW Henderson, Werdum, and Bigfoot Silva!
