Banger!! This one of those fights were it's impossible for it to be a dud. Both guys hunt for a finish. Leaning towards Ilia but Charles hits like a Mule at LW.

agree, dude who already suffers from weight cut puts that extra weight to go up a division... Doubt he'll want to cut back again. Only if he if he fails to get a second belt and even so the weight cut tends to get nastier

Honestly if Islam loses to JDM at welterweight he could just retire.

It’s possible that is the outcome, but I don’t see it. I think Charles will come to strike and that will be his bad. Ilia going to ko him I’m pretty positive on that. Will be within 2 rounds unless Charles can somehow get ilia’s back. I’m not see that though I think he is going wake up wondering what happened.

100% agree Dana is punishing him, but not being reliable is a good reason for you to not be booked for a title fight.

While I don't agree on punishing him for it in a personal vendetta kind of way, the fact is that I agree with the business decision to chose Charles. Barely lost(for me should have been a draw if rules allowed more 10-10's), is more popular and has a more exciting fight style.

He was very unprofessional the night of the weigh-ins. He had turned down a fight with makhachev before due to scheduling issues. Charles has fought in the mean time and made something of himself. Arman has refused.
So yea, he can go fuck himself.

He lost a split decision to Arman in a fight that should never have been only 3 rounds. It is disgracefull that they don't make more 5 rounds fights for obvious contenders.

When guys get to the title they barely have 5 round experience so it ends up favouring the champion. I don't know if that's why they don't make those fights 5 rounds but whatever the reason is it isn't good. All the fans want to see the best fighters fighting for longer.

If you think about it, any fighter who beats Chandler gets to fight for a title in his next fight.

I’m a fan of both Jon and Ilia but there’s no denying that their biggest supporters are quite passionate for lack of a better term.

Oliveira's been submitted several times. A submission win by Topuria isn't insane.

Maybe not insane, but it isn't likely. Once they face off, people are gonna see the huge size difference. I'm happy in any case I'm probably more pumped for this fight then Ilia vs Islam. Two finishers who go forward who are exciting everywhere.
