DDP fought Dec 22, March 23, July 23 and Jan 24 for the title. That's 4 fights in 13 months, pretty much means he was non stop in camp from Oct 22 to Jan 24. He won the belt not even 2 months ago, people are morons.

The guy's openly saying he's refusing to defend when asked so that he can instead wait for a card that literally doesn't even exist. Like it's not like he's saying "I can't do this one but give me a few more months and I'll defend in June", he's saying "I'm out indefinitely until this insane nonexistent demand is met". Which may never happen.

If DDP wants to be the UFC African Champ he can fight when that actually exists. Until then defend or there's plenty of other fighters who would like to be champ right now.

It's that he's saying he's not defending period until UFC Africa happens. Which isn't a thing and may never be. How are you okay with that?

Like yeah, right now you're at the point saying we can't strip him. If in 9 months he's still holding to that same stance of no defences until UFC Africa are you still going to support that? Of course not. Yet nothing will have changed, it's the same insane demand holding back his defence.

At some point you'll accept that he actually does mean it and realize people were right all along that that's an insane demand and he needs to agree to defend sometime in 2024, regardless of UFC Africa.

If UFC Africa happens in 2024, great. If not you're fighting again in Toronto or wherever pal.

No. He just had a 5rd war and plenty of other champs and fighters have not competed for even longer with none being stripped.

UFC scheduling is a fucking nightmare though and I could rant at length on the current states of affairs and how badly the first half of 2024 has been botched in that regard.

Second of all, ppl seriously need to ask yourselves, 'does the ufc EVER strip champions?' It never happens. Even with lots of BS out there. It's so, so, so, unlikely to happen.
