Yes, it really does depend on these unconfirmed details. For example, in that post, they make it sound like a degenerative condition ("...as his vision deteriorates"), which would be an even bigger deal than a 'stable' vision problem.

Seems incredibly dangerous trying to gauge your distance without the ability of properly perceive depth against a guys like MVP in that "bladed" stance, lunging in and out. I really didn't like the way that looked. Like kickboxing a jousting lance.
Kid is tough but he could get seriously hurt on this path. Best of luck to him if he hangs them up. Hope he can find another life passion that's healthy and sustainable and equally as rewarding as fighting was. It's amazing what Mike Bisping managed to accomplish tbh.
