I can't see Izzy going that far down the rankings for his next fight but it seemed astute to position it as some long running rivalry to be from his days in China. Trying to build an Izzy v Alex type feel to the matchup. I never considered it before but now I am curious and would definitely watch so it sounds like a good callout

No, I dont but against a striker who is probably not gonna try to take him down, its a fun fight. Again it dont happen right now but getting people to talk is how Nate is a millionaire, why not do it?

Izzy's already shown watching the match on his YT, that is great publicity for his name.

It costs him nothing. He's trying to break through, and after a crazy KO like that, people will at least listen to him and think about that fight.

I am not reaching and never said there was a rivalry. I said there is a promotional angle to be had from him saying that he has been wanting this fight for a long time and they have a common background in their striking sport in China, as Shara himself positioned the idea of that fight

Time and time again, we keep seeing these terrible callouts. Buckley to McGregor. Cow Borralho to DDP. Don’t these guys have managers? Miss me with that “squeaky wheel” bullshit. Callouts should be realistic. This one was a miss both in terms of rankings and ability. Does anyone really think this guy has anything for Izzy right now? This is a missed oppurtunity, plain and simple.

There’s options at 10-15 that would be favorable matchups (non-grapplers). I still like robocop or even Michel. Pyfer would be good, but matching up two hot prospects like that is bad business.

The added wrinkle of him (allegedly) only being able to fight overseas makes the pool of potential candidates willing to fight him even smaller. Not sure if Shara is delusional or just entitled.

I’ll end the rant here and brace for the rabid hordes of Shara Bullet defenders.

I respect your thinking but Israel has lost 3 of his last 4 and should 100% be fighting down, even if his opponents were ELITE.

It's a fun fight, and the former champ has shown he has vulnerability even on the feet....

I'm weary of division Elite squatting on their rank and not fighting down after consecutive loses.

If Shara has bitten off more than he can chew ??? It will still be more fun to watch than him getting laid on by a wrestler.
