UFC is known to be a little creative. They can just make some Interim Title up or roll out a BMF title fight and boom done.

LOL you think Volk is gonna fight at UFC 318? He JUST FOUGHT.

No champion is going to fight less than 6 months after they've just defended their belts. That's dreamland.

Edit: It could happen but Dana would have to throw mega millions in backroom bonuses to Volk. Given how UFC PPV numbers have been reportedly struggling, I doubt Dana can afford to do that right now.

Knowing volk and his dumb ideas... he might do it...
