Sean Brady vs Leon Edwards, why no hype?

Cos Leon is just the most boring ever!!!!!!
he's definitely up there in WWs lol.

but then again we had plenty boring fighters at WW too haha but I feel you

lol that's probably true, but still leon was on a nice run too haha
True. Him being suuuuper boring doesn't mean that he's not a good fighter. Thankfully for all of us though he'll never sniff the strap again.

it's really weird that the only finish Belal has (idk) is against a good fighter like Brady

and the only loss Brady has is a finish by Belal

Brady was really good against Burns, but I felt that if Burns was in his prime he would smash him

Anyways, I will root for a finish, I don't care who wins
The main selling point for Brady is this guy can scrap and he probably has the best top bjj game at WW too.

Yeah I don't think anyone saw Belal finishing Brady lol.

To be honest, I'm not sure about Burns vs Brady, I think Brady is always going to be tough for a guy like Burns because I don't think Burns can sub Brady off his back.

Brady is really good, but personally I thought he would be better. I guess it kinda sounds wierd, but I guess it's just what it is lol.

He might be boring, but he does have this unique mix of abilities that he brings to the table.

Now will he beat Leon? I slightly favour him, but I think it could go the other way too.

And yes hopefully, hopefully there will be a finish.

Maybe sherbros will like them a bit more after lol

Apparently it's a titleshot eliminator. I mean he had excuse about 5 am for his last fight, maybe this fight can tell us.

Leon is done, hasn't looked good in a while. Was hoping the odds would be a little different, was hoping Brady would somehow be the dog....lol.
I just don't know if he was off because he really was not a morning person lmao, or he just got steamrolled and that's all he is.

I guess Brady could tell us cuz he will essentially try to do the same thing lol

This is a good card. Both guys tend to put on somewhat boring fights, maybe that's why no hype?

Good card, regardless
Yes that is a tendency...I guess people recognize it very well lol.

Still a high level fight...two boring fights can make a good fight too lol we will see.

I mean Brady does try to throw hands lol...but then TD comes right in! haha

Burns x Khamzat is one of my favorites fights ever, so I always think that Burns' version beat almost everybody lol

that being said, I was looking forward for this fight against Brady, because he lost to Jack, ok, but he was winning by points until that KO

so I got disappointed by Burns' performance.
if I remember well, Sean was touching him with punches the whole fight, winning every round, and the only hope was Gilbert find a heavy punch to KO and didn't happened

this fight had everything to be like the Khamzat's fight, both are good on the ground, so they just decided to stand up and bang

but I think Burns was just too slow, and Brady outclassed him but couldn't finish, a forgettable fight

oh yeah it was a great fight and lived up to the hype

thing is, I think the only way Burns wins that fight against someone like Brady is somehow catching him, just like he did against Maia.

I just think Burns is too small for someone like Brady whether it's in his prime or not, but I guess it's hard to say.

We could say that maybe Burns wasn't fast enough, but it's just hard to say, and if Burns were willing to let his hands go more it could've been a different story, but I guess it's just ifs or could'ves and should'ves.

Like even against Gunnar, he was an underdog, and Gunnar wanted to take the fight to the ground and if Gunnar would've been able to do that, he likely would've won the fight too. And he definitely can be controlled by someone with high level BJJ, which Brady is.

I think Burns had a hell of a career, a great guy and a great fighter. Hopefully UFC stop feeding him to these young killers and up and comers..
