The Russian people are not bloodthirsty. They weren't 'bloodthirsty' when fighting alongside American forces in Europe now were they? It is what the media tells them. Censorship. What they are told to believe by the government. The same thing is happening in Ukraine, China, Iran, and North Korea.

Heck, we here in the US went through something similar with president Joe Biden. The left-leaning media and liberals saying what a great president he was when in fact his cognitive abilities were shot the day he took office. A nice four-year coverup (2021-2024) of a man who thought he was the president of NATO. How Russia should invade Ukraine. One very specific individual in his cabinet ran the country and made key decisions on his behalf. You won't be seeing that with Trump.

If about Europe, I had posted in 2022 th that for global west might be enough if half or ukr will remain as grey zone buffer. Ofc living in debts and dreams.

I hate to generalize of course but most russian online posters in Telegram were clearly unhappy with the two day truce and couldn't wait for the fire to restart and kill some more orthodox brothers who speak the same language. They have killed half a million of their own people and can't wait even two days in their biggest holiday to restart the killing. Yeah maybe that isn't bloodthirsty at all. And about Biden or Trump both your regular ukrainian and regular russian don't really give a fuck. ...and of course Russia violated it right? Ukraine played no hand in violation of the ceasefire.

Both sides are blaming each other. Who is to say Ukraine is not the one who violated the ceasefire agreement and is blaming Russia to get western support? I mean, Ukraine would never fire missiles at itself to make it look like Russia did it and get world support. Isn't this exactly how the US got involved in Vietnam? The Gulf of Tonkin incident, 1964.
