I hate to generalize of course but most russian online posters in Telegram were clearly unhappy with the two day truce and couldn't wait for the fire to restart and kill some more orthodox brothers who speak the same language. They have killed half a million of their own people and can't wait even two days in their biggest holiday to restart the killing. Yeah maybe that isn't bloodthirsty at all.

Putin may want this war, but that does not mean the average Russian wants it too. If that was the case, why is Russia having recruitment problems and desertion within the ranks?

Russian's should up their retaliation against recruitment further IMO - if I was Russian, I would not want to die in a dirt hole or be blown apart by a drone in Ukraine for some suits who don't care about me and are just trying to get richer. I am shocked they tolerate it.

Putin is offering impressive hiring bonuses and guys are thinking that ....they will be OK....

Bonuses are paid because a lot of differrent mines and IEDs, drones etc .......

A series of explosions have occurred at the 51st Arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate of the Russian Ministry of Defence in Russia's Vladimir Oblast.

Details: Reports indicate that a gigantic explosion has occurred at the facility and that secondary detonations continue.

According to Astra, the explosions are being heard near the place of deployment of a military unit in the Kirzhach district of Vladimir Oblast. The road from Moscow to the settlement of Kirzhach has been reportedly blocked.

Local residents note that smoke from the detonation is visible over the village of Barsovo. The arsenal of the Main Missile and Artillery Directorate, military unit No 11785, is located there.



Militarnyi reports that this is one of the largest arsenals operated by Russia's Ministry of Defence.


The 51st Arsenal of the Directorate (military unit No 11785) is located about 530 km from the Russo-Ukrainian border.

The military facility, located east of Moscow, covers an area of about 3.5 sq. km. and, according to some reports, can store about 274,000 tonnes of ammunition.

It has fortified bunkers for storing ammunition and open storage areas for unloading/loading weapons.

Honestly I'm lost on this, at first I thought it was Putin's war (and obviously political weight is entirely on him) but than I kind of flipped onto thinking this is actually russian nationalists asking for this bloodshed. Is it a coincidence that every 10-20 years they stomp someone on their head. Of course the elite makes the decisions to maintain regional power status etc and opposition voices are supressed but overall pro war culture has to be taken into consideration as well. I remember quite the excitement at home when Russia intervened in Syria. I hope I'm wrong!

Zelensky reported that Russian forces did not conduct long-range strikes against Ukraine on the night of April 19 to 20 and during the day on April 20 and proposed a temporary moratorium on long-range strikes against civilian infrastructure.

Zelensky stated that Ukraine and Russia achieved a long-range strikes ceasefire between April 19 and 20 and during the day on April 20 and such a ceasefire is the easiest to extend. Zelensky proposed a temporary ceasefire on long-range missile and drone strikes against civilian infrastructure for a minimum of 30 days, with the opportunity to extend the ceasefire beyond 30 days.

Russia and Ukraine repeatedly accused each other of violating the temporary energy infrastructure strikes ceasefire, but Putin and other senior Russian officials have repeatedly rejected the March 13 joint US-Ukrainian 30-day full ceasefire proposal over the last five weeks. A temporary civilian infrastructure strikes ceasefire agreement — and especially a general ceasefire agreement — would require robust monitoring mechanisms, public and formal terms, and a clearly defined time frame. The Kremlin may continue to leverage any vague future ceasefire agreements to obfuscate Russia's rejection of US and Ukrainian ceasefire proposals and to accuse Ukraine of violating such ceasefire terms.

This is large arsenal ( a lot of large warehouses ).

They are using this to store missiles for Grad, Uragan and Smerch MRLS ....before distribute them to smaller depots and units etc.

It's a ridiculous demand, he also doesn't want NATO troops as peacekeepers, and a ban on Ukraine joining NATO, the Yanks just copied and pasted putins demands verbatim as some sort of peace deal and threatened to walk away if they don't agree.

Real reason etc is different ....and looks that repeats Lavrov 2015 options.

They then wanted to get symbolic sanctions removed and to get Crimea recognized by U.N etc as Russian Federation.

There was road how to get all sanctions removed and to get what they want....however Ukr president alone can't do territorial changes.

In order to cede Crimea for Russia, Rada should change constitution and ofc looks that also rerefendum needed.

If zelonka will sign or not sign, they simply might laugh is such procedures weren't done.
