There's a girl on my wrestling team. She's not in my weight class, but it's funny to watch some of the guys wrestle with her.

I train together with my girlfriend, and out of the regulars, she's the only girl in class. I don't consider myself performing gay acts when rolling, so naturally I don't view her rolling as anything sexual.

If any of them were to pop wood while grappling her, that's them being utterly pathetic and has nothing to do with her. Also, she's an adult and doesn't need me looking out for her, and I'm sure the same goes for your sister.

Oh, and about the shame on you - viewing grappling as anything sexual is like agreeing with the retards who say "omg, grappling is teh gay!!11!"
 
First of all you romos who roll and don't wear a cup need to get one.

I don't like rolling with girls because I really feel bad about trying to choke or submit a girl. I just can't generate that killer instinct rolling againist a girl.

The first time I rolled with a girl I just let her work me and tap me at will. But then other guys where laughing at me, which is stupid for me to take seriously but at the time I did. So the last time I just held her down with a crossbody.

One weird thing that happened another time is she was rolling with this metrosexual looking guy, and I think she thought he was good looking. But their rolling session almost turned into a soft porn, which was really annoying. At one point she mounted him, and he grabbed around her ass and picked her up and ran her around the room with his hands on her ass while she strattled him. I'm no prude, and if anything I am too much into sex. But when I go to train, that's what I want to do is train. I don't mind laughing and having a good time, but christ that stuff was just annoying.

Honestly, if its just for training for competition, it would be nice to have enough women to have seperate rolling for the sexes. But I can see there is a problem with a shortage of women wanting to roll, so I guess its just up to the guy if they feel comfortable with it or not.

You're not a prude, they were bullshitting during a training session. It was inappropriate behavior on their part.
 
Like others said, focus! Any female grappler beyond her first day of class is going to have her head on straight and will be dressed right so she's not going to be bothered by getting touched accidentally. We can tell the difference between an accident and someone getting fresh, though; so stick to grappling or you're likely to get punched in the face or jabbed "accidentally" somewhere that'll make you glad (or wish) you were wearing a cup.

And while it's true that a really big weight/strength difference can make it hard to train with small females, the same's true when you go against small males. It gives you a good opportunity to work on your technique. Because, someday, you'll be the smaller/weaker one and you'll need all the technique you can muster.

If rolling with the oppposite sex creeps you out or if you just can't stick to business, don't do it. But don't get all bent out of shape worrying about what she's going to think. We can tell the difference between grappling class and having sex, honest.

Again, look how some of these users are acting in this thread, look at the other threads about wrestling with girls. You are straight up lying if you think that none of that gets to you even a little bit when you sit back and think about it after rolling or even when doing techniques. It will always irk me.

There's no simple answer. Rolling with a cute girl feels nice and sometimes it's hard to control yourself.
All you can do is try to think about grappling instead of about jamming it.

Why the hell would I bother lying here? My girlfriends ex trains MMA near us, and if we would've trained there instead, she would be rolling no-gi with him a few times a week, and I can honestly say that not even that would bother me the slightest.

Grappling is not sexual.

And for the guys mouthing off gays - just fucking grow up.
 
Girl or guy it doesnt matter on the mat, but i gotta admit its more fun to roll wiuth someone whos sweat smell nice (aka girls, well most,)

I have a close relationship with my sister and I realize after doing BJJ for 8 months it's not sexual. It doesn't matter what you say I'm still going to think the same way, and you are kidding yourself if you think one your girlfriend's training partners haven't thought of something fresh. It's human nature.

yeah it took me 8 months for me to see bjj is not sexual too, the day i figured it out i was very pleased
